01 Introduction
We know what we are doing wrong but loathe admitting for a very simple reason: we love our excesses and outlet for our negative propensities like envy, anger and revenge.
This need to live with lower level consciousness people for our daily needs to exist on earth can be a "hounding experience" for empaths.
But social niceties have to be maintained if advantage is to be taken of others never forgetting that we cannot hurt their vanities and it must seem all above board.
So our entire human emancipation is founded on furthering our desires and ambition with great pains being taken to hide it all.
Fortunately most humans are not very wise in the ways of the world and can be tempted, fooled into believing anything and frightened into submission. This has been going for so long that certain harmful toxic and untruthful practices have become THE TRUTH that every human is convinced is the established absolute truth and way life on earth and worse of all that it cannot be any other way. There has been a shift in focus. The older people lived in harmony with the vibes of Nature. None of their efforts were commercial. Everyone lived within the limits of what they could do for themselves so there was no greed to corrupt efforts. A beautiful harmony was achieved with existence.
The only problem was they were not thinking about the fears and the violence they were constantly living with.
Then necessity made them think of arms, more arms and technology developed due to this need. The warfare increased. The economies became dependent on warfare. And this continues to this day.
Greed, the need to accumulate and fast is driving humans; they have lost touch with Nature and are now shooting themselves in the foot.
Once they have made earth into an arid patch, they will I suppose by exigencies of the moment huddle down and wonder about living harmoniously as empaths. Hopefully.
Unfortunately at the earth level of the present consciousness level, virtually everything we consider as the truth, the correct and better approach and the most superlative is a comparative low.
But the question is how to show it?
The evolution cannot be speeded up by simply talking about it. At the present level of time we have the capacity to see only with our physical eyes. The microscope and telescope helped us to widen the view and now we have a lot of information but not the sight as yet.
There are other domains. We have become aware of them but not opened out to them.
I suppose it will happen when it will happen. No hurrying the Cosmos.Bottom of Form
In this book I place certain arguments and new ideas to explore how things can and should be. Often I expose what I consider illusionary truths that in speech and words seem awfully grand but expose deep inadequacies.
I won't be surprised if my thought process is seen as suspect and argued over. There is no reason for anyone to accept anything I am venturing out to expose until they have had the same transmutative life and sight that I have been Blessed with.
All yours anyway.
Introductory view:
Some see the leaf, some see the trees, others see the woods in entirety and some even see the mountains and the plains beyond. In which category do you fall? Do you see everything only from the personal angle (like the tree and the leaf on it) and see the woods safe because our tree is taken care of or do you worry about the woods so understanding that the safety of the tree is in the safety of the woods. Or you have ventured beyond that and are seeing the place of the woods with the mountains and plains and rivers and would like the whole in balance for our existence depends on it?! How can we make them see the woods and beyond? Frankly there is no easy answer. The adults become aware only late in life and by then they have already brought up children who are fully grown up and they will repeat the same in their turn although mitigated by some wisdom by the more adult ones who we are now being cut off unfortunately. Knowledge of this kind is best imparted unconsciously. I was lucky in the Ashram. The seed was surreptitiously planted so that it began buzzing in our subconscious rather soon. Parents do make a limited effort within their understanding but tend to force it down the throat and it only results in revolt. Then they are looking from the pragmatic point of view of living in the forest/woods, not really caring about the child's nature as a person as a tree too much.
But we are now in 2021 and can do our bit to spread the ideas surreptitiously thru the impersonal portal of FB/books, writing hoping that some of the thoughts are hitting the mark.
Mass production of quality goods and digital technology has forced to accept "SMALLNESS OF OUR CHARACTER" as normal to humanity.
By making "Perfection and Betterment" into a unwanted snob thing we have reduced our ourselves to accept as correct the level the commonest lowest denominator possible in modern living in the 2000 time period. The discerning intelligentsia has been beautifully isolated and transmuted into the dirty class.
What is not being seen as yet it the glaring fact that it has quietly put our lives into the hands of unscrupulous characters. Life is now ruled by the demands of the lowest denominator. This has quite undone the intellectual advances of the last 3000 years.
Many have started seeing how more and more and after the 2020 pandemic episode, the way these rulers have played their hand to disfranchise the common man. Only the common man doesn't see it fully yet. The pandemic has opened the yes somewhat that finally our friendships and relationships and close-knitted living together for each other is judiciously the need of the moment if we are to survive the temptations laid out in front of us by the kingly class. We are being impoverished because the kingly class is cornering all the profits and sharing it only with its own group. Not spreading it back. This is now possible because of impersonal corporate bodies producing in impersonal factories that are then marketed all over the globe.
The small guy with limited talent and funds is left out in the cold. We need to also wizen up and share our goods and services and the market at our disposal with our own groups. Keep it small and it is beautiful. If the Dark Middle Ages was possible once, it is possible again. If the Roman Empire could fail and crumble, the present ones will also eventually do so. See for yourself; Vikramaditya, Ashok, Darius, Charlemagne, Napoleon, Akbar, Mohenjo-Daro, Vijyayanagram all great names that came up and then went away as easily. Gave glimmer of hopes of ascending humanity and then it all collapsed back to the starting line.
In short, indulgence is the foundation of human nature and its weakness. Until we raise the foundations we shall be flooded again and again. The day we shall become impervious to the calls of the wild to beget babies, the way we stop storing gold in safes as wealth, the day we stop storing uncounted, un-needed cash in our mattresses comes, this world will roll and unroll as it has always been doing.
This is not history repeating itself, it is TIME moving on and on and on....
02 The Covert Culture
We are cancelling the merit factor out our lives. It is a funny scenario. In the digital arena everyone is equal. But in real life on the street we are not. So as it seems to me our bodies move about in the Victorian era while our mind lives in the digital age. It is a beautiful clash of diametrically opposite images. In the digital arena we are free to do and behave. We are nice, philosophical, and artistic and come off with a lot of merit - making sure only the image we want to be seen is seen. We are also unafraid to be rude, vulgar, insulting and the lot as we know our nose is safe, hidden behind the digital screen. But out in real life of blood and sweat our values still rife since the old days of Queen Victoria's rule still influence us. You can't do a lot of things that you so impudently would on the screen and then enjoy hundreds of views and consider yourself special. In real life we have to be correctly dressed, use correct grammar and be circumspect in speech and really be of some merit to be heard, seen and recognized. And we like it or not, we have to recognize the presence of others. Our digital greatness seems to evaporate when we go out into the street in our physical body -- being forced to leave our computer and our make-believe image at home. The smart phone has been a great relief for these beings.
One small detail is not being missed though. That the ones dealing with the nitty gritty of life seems to enjoy a wider spectrum of wealth and possibilities; this is also creating a psychosis of envy and the less able then stoop down to activities nearing "SHOCKING BEHAVIOUR" to attract attention. This to me is the cancelling culture which is shredding our psychological equilibrium.
Today the digital tech has allowed the non-meritorious a wonderful platform. The DISRUPTors have more value than ever. Every small voice however discordant or misleading is heard; the more disturbing the better. Cacophony has become respectable. Cheating and fraud cannot be traced or proven because of the smoke-screen the digital divide provides. The real kings are people like Dr Fauci/Bates. They not only rule realms but the minds. The truth, the real, the genuine has no place no more anywhere.
The guy who controlled the castle was always the king. Earlier they did by the sword. Now they have this voting. Electronics and the method is the main thing. The present kings played their cards well. That is all.
Back biting, cheating, underhand, robbery has always been part of the game.
The clever and audacious win in this world.

Having lived abroad for nearly the same years I've become an adult in India, my observation is 'That tendency is global'. The levels of sophistication differ both in personal & online etiquette.
And in both personal & online lives, 'discretion being the better part of valor' has tremendous value, not simply because one chooses to take the pompous 'higher ground' but because one recognizes that effecting a change in deep rooted biases through fleeting dialogues is truly a lost cause. It but, only serves the person making assumptions & assertions some sense of 'higher worth'.
I have stopped defending my views or even making much as they're but a lost cause as I find.
I sense you may have felt disrespected by not getting a response and felt compelled.
If I don't respond, it's not out of contempt, but out of respect. I don't make many friends, acquaintances but I hold dear the ones I do.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
You are right and actually from deep within I don't really care let us say I understand that nothing will change. But then I am not speaking from the angle that I be heard. I am throwing small sparks. Who knows a fire may start somewhere. But in a small circle around me people are listening and in that circle I repeat certain things specially to my child who IS imbibing much unconsciously.
FB is such a wonderful tool to connect impersonally. I am doing what I think should be done without really getting involved and with the little that I have.
I speak of India and in India because this is where I am.
I don't like to confront my younger ones directly. Thru FB posts and shares I am sowing seeds that enter their consciousness as part entertainment and part philosophical bantering.
Then sharing also allows a lot of people to validate their own feelings and thoughts that they are experiencing. When you read about something from others that resonates with you it gives a boost to continue on your own path of life.
If remaining silent was the better way, then all our rishis and saints and philosophers would never have spoken. Positive sparks to keep the "positive" element active is needed but yes without expectation or machinations. Make it a natural flow and let it go or die out naturally.
If you are seeing me as a pompous bum trying to speak from a higher ground, then of course we are not relating well. I feel that for a short while that I am alive, in the innocuous way of FB, sending out some pregnant messages in a vile world is quite alright.
Want peace and quiet? Stop thinking about yourself and you as being in the center of all things all the time. Clouds of peace will descend and envelop you and free you from the clawing of life's burdens

I read your posts when I see them, sometimes I disagree at the light in which India is portrayed simply because I experience it everywhere, but most times I enjoy them. No, I've never seen you speaking from a higher ground.
Pradeep Maheshwari Philosophers cannot afford to let their thinking be subverted by national and personal passions. I think we Indians are only active at the instinctive level; ready to blow a fuse at the slightest pretext. Our forest nature is still with us but when it comes to using the mind we become passive. Is this need to let things be a virtue or a sign of lassitude? Why was Europe able to conquer and rule over half the world? Because they were able to discipline their actions by controlling their minds and over-ride their instinctive responses & reactions. We need to learn this lesson fast if we are not be subdued again
Where governance has gone wrong. Instead of worrying about the economy and protecting borders, governments reduce themselves to become extensions of the person in power. (Remember Morarji promoting urine therapy) Mostly this translates into governing the morals of the people which is none of their business. What man and women can do is the focus and problem of governance. We are more worried about things like Suicides, Gambling, Drinking and Prostitutions and such; forgetting that these are social problems and laws do nothing to improve matters. Laws only create an environment for the administration clerks/babus to go corrupt and take bribes to overlook misdemeanors. We are actually promoting a new set of social evils by these laws. And the poor ones we thought we were protecting get into the clutches of criminals.
We all want change but venture not out to make any.
It was taught to me when I asked for change that change will come when you have changed enough to receive it.
If you are satisfied with your life as it is in your existing well why would you want to change it and why would the Cosmos want to assist you in bringing change in your life?
We rarely desire change. What we desire is that the world will shift its stance and allow us our pleasures and help us in making our wishes come true. Desires that have come upon us mainly thru envy or some such emotion.
Just imagine billions wanting to launch their flies to catch fish at the same and all lines getting entangled.

Do you know what wealth is? Your young son comes up to you and says: "Do you want me to make you two eggs?" and proceeds to do so. Focus on the important things in life. Life is precious. Don't waste time on nonsense. Have a great day.

Unfortunately I have seen so(ooo) many moms who would immediately start finding faults the ways he was doing it and end up with: " here you leave it to me. I'll do it"
I am now riled up to my eyebrows. Then sprinkling salt on the injury they regularly complain that no one ever does anything in the house and think of the woman of the house as servant.
PS: I secretly think they do have the personality of a servant.
05 I feel saddened by this new thought that
has taken over the human mind: This idea that Electric vehicles are cleaner.
It compares to the same kind of thinking like that of Nuclear energy for electricity.
IT only LOOKS (to the apparent eyes) CLEAN.
The core is more dangerous than the smoke we are avoiding.
AND where is the electricity coming from?

Buddhism Buddha was a Hindu. As such there is nothing like Buddhism. It is all ditto copied from Hinduism. It's time Buddhists are considered Hindus.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
You are allowing yourself to be swayed by labelling.
Buddhism is based on what Buddha is supposed to have said. It is his insistence on Nirvana and control of mind that separates him. This has nothing to do with Hinduism.
The secrets were already there exposed in our Vedas and Upanishads. But they have to be explained to more or less illiterate people. This job is done by people, some good and remembered and some like you and me who will be forgotten.
In India we have had so many figures who were students of Hindu philosophy like Vivekananda but we did not start a religion by the name of a leader. This we left to the lesser educated groups.
Is there really anything called Hinduism as there is no one person such as Buddha, Christ, Mohammed, Nanak that we can pin it on.
By asking to BAN this or that you are thinking like an extremist. The real Hindu focuses on himself and lets the world be. "copied" the use of this word is so childish.
A lot of people fill their lives with aimless debate as it gives their pointless lives some meaning. They are thinking aloud and we are stupid enough to get embroiled in it. I wonder if they would not be better off watching some sportive match on TV.
~Fyodor Dostoevsky:"Every man has some reminiscences which he would not tell to everyone, but only to his friends. He has others which he would not reveal even to his friends, but only to himself, and that in secret. But finally there are still others which a man is even afraid to tell himself, and every decent man has a considerable number of such things stored away. That is, one can even say that the more decent he is, the greater the number of such things in his mind."
Pradeep Maheshwari: True as statement of reality goes.
But what needs to be said further is the way we hide ourselves from our own thoughts.
It is also true given the nature of some thoughts and certain foolish events that we allowed to happen we would squirm if we thought of them. Continuously thinking of these thoughts can only disturb and destabilize our hard earned equanimity in this life.
We therefore hide our secrets under a heavy layer of activity that looks outwards and focuses mainly on seeing life and participating in whatever is going on to keep our mind busy even though we are in no way really connected to the activity.
This is why political events, news, spectator sports (specially the violent types) are so enthralling. This is why the TV is such a success as a product and service and today the smart phone has seduced our minds completely.
"Peaking". A half a lifetime ago I made friend who
was like a brother to me. We were then young and exploring ways to succeed in this world in what this world calls success. Astrologers were consulted routinely and one day he told me that a known guy that he trusts told him that he would peak by about the age of 46 and then on it would plane out. He was so influenced that he started doing all the correct and right things to pursue his goals. He put in a lot of effort. He went abroad, got himself PhD and on this basis, rose in the public service ranks to reach the highest positions possible in the government structure.
The astrologer's advice did him good.
But in this speedy progress we alienated away. Even the common car mechanic (that I had introduced to him) between us remarked that "he" is no more the same guy. The "moolah" drives him. And that was that.
I realized that the astrologer had given a very matter of fact advice. This is the graph that most lives follow. This is the regular route in our lifetimes.
07 Everything is real. Even the unreal
Kathy Glover
Everything is unreal, even the real.
Pradeep Maheshwari
Kathy, I would beg to add a point. When we look at the world as nihilists as even the Hindus have learnt to do with the simplified philosophical attitude that all is "MAYA" (Illusion), we get into the environment of "Excuses" to not do much about it. An escapist trend settles in our consciousness.
The first attempt of all humans seems to be to run for Nirvana as an end to all troubles. This is pure and simple escapist thinking. I think although Buddha had given a simple answer to many ailments of the Human Populace, he also sowed this negative attitude. Now why would the Human Being evolving and created with so many lives of hard labour want to annihilate himself by entering the world of "shunya"(Zero)?
Wouldn't the attitude to want to go beyond it all as bigger and wider BEING be of greater interest? The simple answer is to become bigger than the problem and encompass and digest the problem within us.
There are some people on earth whose sole reason for being there is to act as blocks on the way. Put specifically there by the Cosmos to be noxious and absorb all the negativity on earth by goading humanity to do better. They are like rock formations on the path. Their job is to urge you to look for ways and means to skirt or solve the issue confronting you. There are normally only a few possible ways to do this: Like either you can crush the rock and spread it around, or you can push it into the ground or you can detour or even go around it. These people may seem like sheer negativity but serve a very positive purpose.
On the point raised that Christianity and Mohammedanism are fabricated religions as against the others who have a single realized being or saint beings them. (example: Buddhism-Buddha, Sikhs- Guru Nanak)
Answer to a friend: The details you give are worth of note but you must realise this is how we get lost in long dissertations and miss the actual point.
In my opinion, the realised beings should focus on the fact behind it all and forget the details as weeds growing around it.
Once the truth of the matter at its origin is seen, the focus should be on moving forward.
Focusing on the details keeps us stuck with the old mental formations and although we may sound wise, we are not moving forward.
30 years ago I took a decision that would take my life at a serious tangent from the one I was pursuing then. But quite evidently I was doing something wrong as my activities brought me to a spot where I was immobilized by life. Life has this curious habit of throwing adventurers into quicksand situations from which one can dig out only with help. These situations and the help we seek then form us and shape our character. It can be painful too as they cling to us and become part of our lives. I wonder if the decision that was taken 30 years ago that brought me where I am today will now hover on me for the rest of my life? If there is respite possible how will it come about to happen?
We can regret it or enjoy it; the choice is of course ours. Whatever the chain of events that brought us where we are, now what do we do if we are unhappy about it? At the fag end of our lives, like I am where I am, what are possibilities of making change as there is little fight left in the body?
08 Malachy Matthews
09 Just occurred to me there. Why precisely
did "We" put machines on Mars? I will accept answers that substitute 'Moon' for Mars as the question is challenging.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
If we convert it into a psycho-spiritual question the answer would be that we feel an internal urge to grow. But as yet our view is totally towards others and the manifestations that we can see and feel with our 5 senses.
The telescope and the microscope opened to us new worlds. The airplane and the submarine opened to us newer vistas.
Now we are sort of addicted to more and more information which may or not may be of much use to us but the exercise feels good. The mind is a collector and it has more than enough to keep it busy for years/ages to come.
It also eliminates the need to look at our own selves and the little imperfections that we happily compromise and live with and ignore the tragedies unfolding around us as mere aberrations.
Our selfishness implores us to ignore the immediate and we need something to keep busy seemingly importantly.
10 Irene Grant
I suspect we are not fully human until we explore and develop our entire faculty spectrum, both cognitive and intuitive. I do realize that many of the impressions and vague memory type experiences embedded in me do not particularly relate to my current existence and I considered these as possible indications of previous lives from which I reincarnated; genetic memory so obviously present in birds and monarch butterflies does explain at least a good part of this. I am often told that I go 'deep' into people and I know I am quite a strong empath - intuitively pick up on people in a crisis whether it is mental, physical, or emotional and I am drawn to them and appear to make a difference for them during that time after which they disappear again from my life. When I embarked on my doctoral coursework I also tested strong in 'empathic' intelligence and I am quite thrilled that we no longer strictly measure IQ at least at some of the institutions of higher learning.... we still have a long, long evolutionary road ahead of us; works in progress...
Pradeep maheshwari
Yes. People like you are opening up.
At least new thought patterns are entering the human consciousness. Until 50 years ago it was usually brushed aside as rubbish.
Today the number of people opening to the intuitive world and not just treating it all as unfounded feelings is growing.
This is why we are seeing the opposite movement of restrictions and controls on our liberties and thoughts being applied by those in power as they see their powers fading. The occult world is at war.
..But what is this thing called inner purpose?
For me it is a sea of words. What is this purpose being talked about? You say inner purpose; what exactly does this refer to? My need for food? My need for sexual satisfaction? My need and yearning for praise and adulation?
We are throwing around philosophical wisdom in words that really very few relate to.
Nowadays it is in fashion to say love thyself. It can be interpreted to mean hundred and one things - each different to every person.
Nobody says something simpler and nearer the truth of things like "Be honest & sincere". Admit to yourself your own insincerity. Admit to yourself your yearnings. Until you have found satisfaction within your own nature, you will see life as incomplete around you.
Do you see yourself responding to certain stimuli and motivations? What are they? Will they do "good" or create negative waves and turnout badly for all concerned. So many questions. These are questions that plague each one of us. This is what matters.
When we have understood these questions in us then we have arrived at a state of purpose as finding answers to these questions become our purpose.
Don't forget most of it is told to us before we learn to discern. On what grounds would I, at the age of 16 start wondering that all that whatever was told us was wrong? The mindset is important and it is definitely totally the most important factor. But unfortunately it gets formed in childhood under the situation we are brought up. By the time we wake up and come into our own we are already "somebody" with a game-plan already integrally embedded into us. And we are all not born with a dynamic persona.
Thereafter only mishaps, tragedies and losses make us change our mind's bent.
Very few are able to go beyond the words into actions.
Parents kill the initiative in children to maintian their hold on them and under their thumb -- although unconsciously as this they are simply being themselves. After the age of 20 it is too late.
How do we change this pattern?
It will be at least another 10 years before the chinks in whatever I was told will start showing off at all. Normally if the chinks are not life threatening why should I bother?
Then there are subjects like every day religion practices, philosophical questions of race, caste, food habits that have really no connects and pose no problems and there seems to be no reason to worry too much or change.
It is very easy to continue within the circle and social structure one is born in. This is why people do not see any need to go looking for answers as there are really no "questions".
The non-questioning attitude is seen most in medical care. We tend to trust the doctor and medical industry simply beyond measure. They play with us and make us pay for it. But then how do we get proper medical care if we question them at every stage? Quite similarly then, would we trust the restaurant and the dress makers or for that matter the teacher and anybody at all?
11 We forget or ignore or simply do not wish
to know that there is an occult world around us.
We pick up "THOUGHT patterns" from childhood that settle in our sub- conscious and memory as TRUTH and reality since the day we are born. Today the scientific community accepts that genetic memory also exists and traumas are carried forward by coming generations.
These thoughts entrap us in their hold and we run our lives not looking sideways or ever questioning them even when experience is showing us that things are not working out. This cussedness is the main problem of ills that beset us in life and eventually quite often even snuff it out.
When we try to follow a life more suited to our instinctive knowledge, truthfulness to ourselves we end up being in confrontation with established society. And this either makes us surrender to the existing patterns or we fight and hurt ourselves.
The correct path is somewhere in between.
Birth, life, death are not factors in our control actually nothing is but the most mistaken thought that we are in control and the "DOER" is instilled in us from the beginning. What an error and how much pain this element brings in life and society cannot be seen by those who are happily floundering in the shallows and accepting it as fine!
While most people are busy making points, I lived to tell the tale. I nearly died, at least was given up for imminent death at the age of 2 and then father tried some homeopathic treatment and it worked. Then when 14 I got Tuberculosis and it was drama period of non- listening parents, confused doctors, experimental treatment , deterioration and then one day I put my foot down and went my way to a Homeopathic doctor of my choosing. Survived again thru sheer self-disciplined living and have survived to this day by giving up a lot of "life" that most people take for granted.
So please at least try to understand what I am trying to say because a lot of our survival depends on us and our ability to unlearn, readjust and reform every day and every moment at the drop of the hat. I am only sharing my experiences so that your own path may be validated by similar experiences of others.
This is the problem in its nucleus form. People trash new information; they pride in their critical thinking and quite often react by getting into a criticising mode. This blankets out all need to reflect, consider. They miss the new line of thought that could save them from themselves.
John Lee
The first paragraph is very good, accurate and true. From there we must share.
As a child I was always "damaged" due to others actions. A fractured skull around 16 months old. Then twisted bent legs at around 3. Others' doing. It is interesting, and even I find it interesting that at around 7 my mother became ill. In and out of hospital. She began looking for a naturopath and due to her searching we met a very talented man whom managed to repair my legs back to perfection. My mother's illness continued until she passed away when I was 11 and a half. Only a few years after that my father became abusive to the point that by 15 I could not be bruised any longer.
These are direct parental influences that leave one scared and unknowingly angry.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
It is convoluted and complicated; every man for himself. We are so basically cruel.
John Lee
We can be yes. But I believe if we can become aware or self-aware, aware of our own actions, mood, thoughts, than the only cruelty is maybe the truth we speak. It is the truth we dislike.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
"IF"
But yes that is the way out if we shall adopt it
The rise in extreme reactions can be attributed to more widespread "news"
50 years ago few would have been affected by the "Happenings" outside their little worlds.
Now we are being overwhelmed with negative news and our blood is curdling, our anger and helplessness is rising and our sources of income are disappearing.
This trend is clearly visible everywhere; including India.
Sally Boult
Pk, would you rather be kept in the dark about world happenings? Many people live in ivory towers and know nothing of such matters. At least they have a bit more time before all is lost.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
How does it help me to know that a woman is being stoned to death in Iran for trying to run away from a cruel husband?
It only makes my heart bitter. When my heart is bitter, I will spread bitterness and vileness around.
Changes nothing and I have absolutely no way to make any changes in the way the world is running.
As to to the availability of time, this is precisely what I am referring to: Busy yourself and expose yourself to things that matter to you in your personal growth and life. Leave the rest of the world alone to itself.

What is the difference between "The Corrupt" & "The Great Unwashed"? The C know what history succeeded & repeat it. Naivety, of TGU, saturates their total existence.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
Everyone is corrupt to some degree or other. This is what keeps us together and the world bumbles along without change.
History is not repeating itself. Things are so and it has been so. We, you are seeing the manifestation of the same FORCE in new settings generation after generation.
El Darlin
Each generation tries to re- invent the wheel instead of learning from the errors of the past.

Yes! It is perpetually the same movement starting again with each new birth.
Yoga, the subconscious and all that crap maybe what sainthood needs but for the average house-holder simple uplifting of spirits & positive advice is good and in greater balance with actualities.
Envy, Greed, Superiority complex and the Fear of the unknown are still too big players in the human make-up. Minor undercurrents of personal gain & satisfaction (above all) run in every decision and act of human behaviour.
The distraction of the cities are so fulfilling and numerous that there is no end to the time we can spend there and lose all track of it. All we need to do is keep indulging till our body sheath drops dead of fatigue and over-use.
But as I see it, people, prefer discussing the path rather than following it. By expounding our knowledge of philosophy, books and scriptures, I suppose we are just being virtuous in our show-offing. In many ways it is a profession.
Three things keep us stuck.
1) Lack of opportunity to experience new things.
2) Lack of ability to learn from the experience and knowledge of others.
3) Lack of inclination to jump into new situations -- avoid learning.
Rather it has jolted me into wondering of what purpose it is to try and inform others about anything? Most will live and decide only by the light of their own little world and the knowledge and experience they have collected.

I just had an interesting idea after reading a post about marriage!
I think people should be required to renew their marriage certificate every 10 years. It will help many to make well informed decisions and there will be less unhappy marriages! Married people will blame each other less after they renew the license for they just went through the renewal process. All married people will have a chance to rethink if they want to stay married or not. Those who don't possess the courage to speak up will also have a platform to voice their concerns. Of course, keeping in mind the goal to help married couple lead happy married life, the couple should be required to answer well researched questionnaire before they submit the renewal application, what do you think?
Pradeep Maheshwari
Yes. I spoke on this very theme with the same conclusion. People change as they go along in life. After 10 years or so the people have remodulated their understanding of life. A lot of people change drastically enough and in real life outside the bondage of marriage would naturally have drifted away.
But there are two things that should be considered. The woman becomes less attractive and the man too lazy to go out wooing. Permanency in marriage gives continuity and routine to an otherwise already difficult life.
A very deep occult point to consider is that the pressures to live with people who are needed and at the same time different creates an atmosphere of challenge and helps us learn and remedy our character faults under duress.
From the occult point of view, this is the most essential component of life on earth. We are here to develop and our lives are transitional.
Then lastly what about the children? They have to be given a home. So marriage is the best solution. I have always advocated there should be no divorce permitted by law for couples with children till the children are 24 years old or so.
Bajeerao Patil
I have seen many children being taken care of separated or divorced parents than by parents who live together without any love lost. They do more damage than they do good. They don't help their children grow into well groomed adults by staying together for sake of it.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
Humans look at life from the point of view of GOOD and BAD based on their preferences and what they consider appropriate, convenient, kind, happy, and pleasant or the opposite. In their limited view one would think that enjoyment and a pleasant life is the aim of this Creation.
The entire painful fallacy of life starts at this juncture itself. As our premise about life is based on this factor we are sure to go wrong in our analysis because the GODS we have dreamed up indicate that we have felt that there are forces at work beyond our understanding.
So we may think and want whatever we want. You stay married, or divorce or never marry, the learning process goes on in every case for the adults and the children. It really does not matter in the final analysis.
Change in life will come only when humans consciously and deliberately start choosing to live for growing in character, sincerely living the precepts they teach and aim for a superior personality and consider this LIFE as an opportunity to do so. This is the tantric view of life so let us not carried away with all this logic. It is enough to go along with our understanding of life, do as we think right and live with the consequences.
There is, let us not forget, Death waiting to give us another start when things so warrant it.
When we share our thoughts, experiences, and give advice or suggestions are we making any difference?
Very little if any.
Yes if they see the same advice from many others/sources then it starts working first on their minds and then on their subconscious and then they one day get the idea as a thought come to them from their own thinking and analysis of life and then of course they act on it.
PS: Most often I see the whole and complete research lacking; the information being incomplete, they end up doing something silly and most ineffective and then, at this juncture they will suddenly remember you to accuse of not giving proper advice or useless advice.
Example: We have in India a natural preparation based on camphor which is the most potent anti-bacterial in nature. Normally taken as a line of first defense at home in mild tummy upsets and fevers and such. One of the brands in use in north India is Amritdhara, Krishna Mixture and in further South Zinda Tilismath.
So I advised this to a relative.
Next time we met he says "your advice did not work. I took Pudin Hara (a concentrate of mint) and there was no effect."
ME: But Pudinhara has nothing to do with Amritdhara.
HE: Oh they are the same thing; I don't agree with you.
The game of words. How the mind likes to reduce everything to a basic single cell image.
Yoga has become the "postures as seen in hatha Yoga"
Meditation has become sitting in the lotus pose thru guided scenario by another guide who is raking in the moolah.
Humans really go to great efforts to delude themselves as in everything they do their basic dishonesty kicks in.
The delusions of man! The basic dishonesty - for all our larger than life gains are always based on some dishonest manipulation.

Even we the people are in real terms aiding the government in their unsavory practices.
We are looking at life only from the point of view what needs to be done and is being done by the Kings. From up there to the trickling downwards. We see ourselves as the sufferers.
Just close your eyes for a moment and contemplate...
1) How did the kings become king; who supported their becoming?
2) Are our living habits in concordance with sane, frugal and minimal living?
Example: Do we waste food? Do we buy and throw away clothes without one single thought of how they were produced and how much they represent our earth's natural supplies? Do we not over eat and eat and consume stuff that is knowingly not good for us?..... and so on and so forth.
Are excesses not our way of life?
3) Do we lie, pretend and show off and make mansions bigger than we need? Do we buy and use motor cars that are huge, gas guzzlers and travel unnecessarily without planning or calculation as to how much this represents wastage of natural resources? Do our families really need the number of cars that they have?
Would we ever consciously want to live with less rather than the excesses we are wont to pursue? We are laying ourselves open to exploitation. Do you see this?
Then why are we complaining that the kings that we made are taking advantage of us? They are one of us. They are doing the only thing we humans know how.
It is time to start looking from Bottom UP.
15 Vaccine; to take or not?
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
Tell me have you lived a life without mistakes. None at all!???
Have you never made errors?
How often have you been correct? Does life always move and unfold as you have planned?
Don't doctors make mistakes? The info is that misdiagnosis and mistreatment leads to 33% or so of cases with death in many cases.
How much time and study have you put in to understand your living style, your food, your methods to maintain a good body and such other questions?
Now this vaccine is worrying you. It is obvious that it is fallible as the illness itself. Death comes because your time is up. So stop worrying. Do whatever makes you less afraid.
Life is not infallible. I for one believe that I should live as best as I know how and go along with destiny to do the rest.
Exactly.....we have not been asking the right questions and promoting the wrong values. All always going along with our values of self- importance and vane illusions.

One thing they did right and sensed the pulse right. They brought products that give instant relief. And these were definitely what people needed and wanted above all else.
The people got sold into mental slavery due to these products. The difference between relief and cure was lost in the fog.
Don't see how a small number of naturopaths like us can bring about a change in thinking; we may shout as much as we want. For the time being they own the earth.
The medical industry in the west developed on the battle-field and they run it as a battle. Their thinking you will notice in every matter on this earth is "military" like. Be it food, education, economy or industry.
Notice their language: They "BATTLE" cancer -- not treat it or cure it.
Words like Domination, Brutal, Heartless, Ruthless, and Arrogance come to mind.
PK: Nobody taught us. We picked up the fear from our surroundings. We are all inherently afraid of what we do not understand and that is beyond our understanding as our mind is not ready for it.
kind of alienation is born of the excessive mobility of people in modern times.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari The fear comes with part of being human.
Clever people who become our Principals, leaders and kings know this primeval fear and use it to frighten us more and keep control over us and we like babies fall into their caged trap gleefully. (There is another side to this scenario: The need for some people in some positions to deflect attention from their selves. They lie and fabricate stories to malign others. If this ends in hurting others it does not seem to bother them as long as their own agenda is being taken care of. In almost all cases they hypnotise themselves to be convinced that what they are doing right and the only way. It is the barbaric element in humans still very active but in a very polished way)
The subconscious waves need to be understood and eventually controlled and regulated by our awakened mind.
The mind feels threatened and wants the offending items to go away or it wants to see it dead very materially. Then as they say it is a case of "No bamboo - no flute - no music"
This is something subconsciously in us since very early beginnings when anything outside the village enclosure was to be feared. Either it was the animals or it could be marauding tribes.
The Jungle is still in us.
We are still being taught to fear and lock the doors. The guards and the guardianship activity is the largest employer.
In life we meet more people wanting to stop us than befriending us.
Think.
17 We are helpless they say
When talking of good health and medicine, I am now realising that we are wasting our time worrying about others. Certain bad attitudes are picked up, promoted and often followed for a life time. These habits and practices are so inbred in certain communities and families that nothing can really be done. They pride it all as their traditions and can take offense if criticized. They live at a level of unawareness that is stupendous. To somebody like me it is positively criminal what they do with their lives but it has to be underscored by the point that it is none of our business.
There are a lot of factors like lack of education, income and social practices that curtail but the will also is lacking. Being satisfied with a little relief is all this mass of people is aiming for.
They are fodder for the system and go to slaughter willingly. I suppose we can just watch and feed them little tidbits of info, with the minimal hope that perhaps they will pay it some attention.
The maids that work for us, for example, in 20 years, I have not been able to make them understand any of the little things I have tried to teach them. They prefer to spend small fortunes in illnesses by going to "Doctors" with established big successful looking clinics. Impossible to make think of in terms of better nutrition or even supplements or something like simple wearing of clothes in winter. We try to help by giving them things but still there is this feeling that nothing is registering and there is no real willingness.
Two years ago her 20 year old son had pleurisy and is forever sick; it is so heartbreaking but we cannot help because their pride won't let them listen.
Their attitudes are determined by certain thoughts like:
- we may be poor but we are living well and we know what we are doing.
- sickness is happening to everybody.
- it is our fate.
What can you do when people abdicate their right to use their intelligence and minds?
Let us, for a moment focus is on the superficial way of looking at things. What is stopping us from looking, researching deeper? Nothing really, except our inherent inertia and laziness. The superficial world gives us enough gossip to feed our free time and occupy our minds. We feel we are knowledgeable and "IN" with life. We are happy to imagine ourselves connected and in touch with the inanities of our times.
Today's driving force is the media. The media jumps at some exciting things and splashes them all over. It makes and unmakes people and things in an unnatural way. Given the power it has over people's minds; just imagine the good it can do. It is so sad to see all this good power going to waste -- being used to promote itself and more superficialness and false images.
History is not repeating itself. This is how IT IS and it is flowing as it was designed to flow.....unless the humankind wakes up, takes note and then changes course.
We have additionally deluded ourselves by agreeing as a whole that we are godly, formed by God in god's image (whatever the idea of god is) and that we are all by value of our virtues destined to greatness and heaven.
We have erroneously convinced ourselves that evil is an aberration. Talk of DELUSIONS. This mass hypnotism is the magic.

I used the word crude instead of 'sexually explicit' as I'm new to the good folks here and while not trying to be offensive to anyone I was taken aback by the carvings (on temples in India) subject matter in some of the renderings. It is beautiful artistic work, phenomenally intricate, time consuming and detail is unbelievable.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
Our temples describe and relate the tantra. When there was no written word to communicate with, the world over, temples, cathedrals and churches told their story in statuesque work.
In India the female form was never hidden away. The female energy was given great importance. The desires were out in the open. Prudishness was clearly understood would create internal traumas and was bad for the health of the individual and society.
Freud made this distinctly clear.
So the possibilities were kept out in the open and treated as something normal to life, like food/dessert is seen as normal cravings.
If a male of the species would not desire a female of the species, what else would he want? The female likes to be appreciated, desired and loves to lord over as long as she can. So it suits everybody.
Everyone knows that after you have seen one female you have seen them all. Why give it too much importance as the western churches did and made men and women different distinct species that people were fighting for and with.
We understand very well that a bit of hugging, petting is healthy and nothing to be ashamed of.
Sex was never given more than its due importance in the scheme of things in oriental thinking.
The western church did a brilliant maneuver by linking sex with sin, hell and the basis of marriage chastity. Boy did this fuck up the western society and still does.
Parris Ja Young
We are generally fucked up 😁
A friend hides his child's eyes when something innocently sexual appears on the TV ... kissing, hugging ... but lets the child watch when a violent movie shows people being beaten, shot or blown up.
As Hippies we lived often without clothing. Our children grew up without embarrassment about male or female anatomy. I believe this is healthy.
Some cultures separate the males and females as far apart as possible. This increases the pressure to find and have sex and often the pressure is so great that love plays no part in the relationship.
A tabby in heat climbs the screen door, yowling at the night.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
yup. The two groups of followers of religions that have massively fucked up the earth are Christians and Muslims. I see them as a master-stroke of the Demonic Spirits. People do not yet understand that there are highly intelligent and knowledgeable malefic gods also. And these two religions are the result of manipulations of these Demonic Gods. If we look back and deeply we shall notice that these two religions have motley of different individuals relating stories and they are formed basically on highly attractive human moralistic principles that seem and sound virtuous but technically are basically cruel in their import.
All the other philosophies and so-called religions have an Individual's name behind them: some realised being who spoke or wrote out his philosophy and a group followed him. These philosophies did not create the massive wave of cruelty that the Christians and Muslims did even though they talk of "love" a word that means as many things to as many people on earth.
Let me give you a small list:
Confucius, Buddha, Krishna, Nanak, and there are hundreds of other greats who are revered and followed by their single names. (Of course their followers did fight for their rights and went spreading the word too -- but this is the human side of things)

One great challenge today's generation is facing is alienation particularly when they leave their villages also cities for bigger cities or for foreign lands. When you leave your city or village for a new place for a variety of reasons... it could be for pursuing higher studies or for employment. The most difficult thing is assimilation. They belong nowhere. Driven by excessive ambition they lose some very vital things in life. When moods swing from one extreme to another whether it is a burst of anger or joy or bouts of anxiety they need someone to share with. And mostly under such circumstances they feel alienated. And this
You have picked up a good topic for discussion but then we are not designed to live like a plant rooted to one place. This LIFE demands experiences to learn and the more varied the stronger is the lesson and growth is larger wider in depth. Human consciousness in its element wants to grow, travel, learn and be shocked out of its complacency. It is an essential part of learning and growing.
It is another matter that the Tamas and Inertia and laziness in the outer human character go in the opposite direction.
By denying humans this and making things easy for humans by helping them to avoid what is called traumas today we are not helping.
Spiritual destiny demands traumas - this is truth humans are not ready to accept and fight against it with all their might.
PS: As to not belonging anywhere.... this is so because their consciousness is not wide enough. They belong to this earth and should be comfortable anywhere on it.
The safety first theory as an excuse to not travel or go beyond one's parameters also prolongs the number of "lives" we shall have to take birth to complete our syllabus.
Unfortunately hate, envy, anger, likes and dislikes are also based on the character handed out to us by Mother Nature. It is the narcissistic element in us; more or less in all of us.
Most people don't even realise that they are being triggered by "Life" and fall cleanly into a pattern in an algorithm already embedded in us.
If anything all our energies go into justifying ourselves which normally result in more of the same often in a chain reaction giving rise to the excess of vileness in human life.
If some other worlds were looking at us from the beyond, they would think we love our senseless suffering. That is because we think it is senseless. The mind does not like the pain and finds it malicious. Of course.
But have you ever seen a man do anything worthwhile when seeped in luxury and indulgent habits? - Except perhaps being the originator of suffering for others?
This is unfortunately the basic nature of man. We actually live in the moment (Philosophers advise humans to live in the moment but I say "They Do" and that is the problem) without ever thinking of the consequences. The small pleasures of the moment take all our attention and energy. When we think of the future it is only with the aim of impressing others - to build a bigger house, buy a bigger car and have a more gala wedding.

+ the advice: Love yourself which only results in more selfishness.
In my life the attachment to life was broken by too much "wisdom" (pardon me the use of this word). Either it was me or the young ladies that I wooed - mainly though it was the pragmatic side of the ladies who did not see in me a secure future. Love is definitely not the motivating factor.
Today when I look back, the "Could have been" scenario is always sad to contemplate.
-------
"The longing for impossible things, precisely because they are impossible; nostalgia for what never was; the desire for what could have been; regret over not being someone else; dissatisfaction with the world's existence. All these half-tones of the soul's consciousness create in us a painful landscape, an eternal sunset of what we are." (Fernando Pessoa)
----------
The lady I missed most and messed up my life because the hurt she caused was more than what I could get over. She was told by unscrupulous persons what a bad egg I was and she threw me out like a fly in her soup never giving me chance to understand what happened. We met again 40 years later and then I asked her what happened. She had not forgotten and asked forgiveness for the pain she had caused on the basis of gossip.
The second lady for some reason asked me to talk to her parents and then in front of the parents said no. It hurt like mad. The insult was also difficult to swallow.
Another lady wanted to but did not really see me as rich husband material so eventually went away.
The last and very important relationship I gave up as I saw confrontations in the future as she was a foreigner (different language too) who might not know how to adjust to life in India and vice versa.
----
Arjun K Nagar: "Wealth or poverty is not found in people's pockets, but in their souls."
Pradeep PK Maheshwari: So? How does the soul of another matter to any other.
We think of this distinction because the material wealth or more accurately the exchange value of the so called money wealth is what is of interest to others.
The Soul-rich people are of no use to those who are looking for material gains.
My Soul-wealth is of use only to me and therefore I am of no interest and worst of all it does not show, cannot be exchanged or given away for use by another or it shows only to those who are themselves rich at the soul level.
From the pragmatic level this is a subject which is technically a non-starter except to cover one's material poverty and explain it away in laudable terms.
Those who hanker after material gains will continue to do so whatever you may tell them. Their view is contained by greed, insecurity, vanity and will never change.
Wherever thinking has been open and life seen from the intuitive angle, there communities have realised how stronger women are.
We CHOOSE our colors and our associates in life naturally, instinctively subconsciously.
Let us not blame them later.
Yes we who fly into petulant rages forget that we all will be shapes all forgotten and the deeds entombed.
Well; Suicides cannot be contemplated so certain evils have to be borne.
20 People love to correct and criticize
Live so outlandishly that people can be virtually made to shut up as they wouldn't even know where to begin
We can always avoid looking into anything deeply and be impressed by the glitter.
I have learnt that we automatically go back to "kindness" when we stop counting pennies.
We are not ready to confront our realities. Just bumbling along and trying to exist with the flag of vanities flying high.
Take a cue from Sri Aurobindo - when the Cosmos touches us with a caress, we scream and howl for it makes us rearrange our lives.
The basic function of Women is in providing the Mother's Touch in the form of "SOFTNESS and Kindness" in an unpredictable harsh world. Instinctively they go for the "Mother" role and are quite happy to be there. But since the 1950s with all the men at war they got a taste of living in the mental world of working for money in an organized system which is inherently very harsh. Education to become capable to handle the duties properly also became a necessity. An unsavory change took place in society wherein the mothers became paid servants with money to burn.
Now money has a character of its own. Wherever it goes it gives a rise to arrogance and pride. The feeling of not being tied down opens doors to all the desires that are normally suppressed. In short the worst side of human nature has a tendency to show itself.
This has made the element of softness disappear from the normal world of cities where the "civilisation" of western style of sociology & thinking is prevalent. It has become a world of locked doors, little charity and even lesser kindness. Everything is to be bought and is on sale; nothing is personal. Only Money is & has any value. Human nature has morphed into a dry tasteless piece of machined beauty along with all the paraphernalia that goes to make our lives worth living.
With money in hand and working mentally, the heart slipped into the background. My experience is that women when they "HARSHen" are tougher nuts than men and when they decide to punish, the punishments are exemplary. But when women who have not lost their touch with the "heart" take decisions, the results are nearer perfection than what men would do.
21 He makes a serious point here
In child hood children would brag that they rang bells and ran away.
In younger people I have seen bravado in disturbing and hurting people and no one able to do anything to them.
In more acute form this is what happens with these silent unknown bomb blasters who think they are making a point against society's ills.
Then there are the adults that brag about how many women they deflowered.
Politicians today pride themselves on cheating their way to the chair and then break all promises with no one able to do much about it,
Drinking is just a misdemeanor for humans.
{width="4.100694444444445in" height="2.9805555555555556in"}
With these values we expect things to improve and change.
Who are we fooling?
22 Life will rip you apart
When you choose to take the path of self-questioning and then putting your house in order, something astonishing begins to happen. Everything starts going asunder as if life decided to rip you apart. This is very disconcerting and stalls the weaker ones who do not show greater courage.
What most do not see is this is an occult phenomenon where the life is coming out in response to your own demands. The idea is to put you up together in a better form but this unfortunately is always too far into the future and too uncertain - seemingly absolutely impossible.
What the human heart and mind sees is the tragedy.
But these tragedies form you; help you to recondition your mind and subconscious and awakens your intuitive visions to see the truth behind all the "appearances".
The family that we are born into has a huge role to play in this as if your destiny has chosen to place you accurately where your basic character needs it and will get the maximum advantage.
I can vouch for this. All the incidents that happened in my life seemed expressly designed to disillusion me and helped me break my attachment to the comfort and support of the family. It was only when I was free of this natural bond and conditioning that I was able to find myself.
Yes this is a very deep understanding that only few get. That as the saying goes "we are all walking each other home"....many of us are there only to help and assist some creative beings to go forward and make the changes that are due in time in the earth's consciousness.
One in a few thousand at most. All the others are there to support and follow.
Humanity has to accept one day that it is weak in WILL and Insincere.
Until that day these incongruences will remain.

One half of sexual assaults involve alcohol. Those are very alarming statistics. Yet alcohol is celebrated within our culture.
-------------------------------------------------
Most of us live under frustrating and traumatic pressures of "self-control" imposed by society on us.
All these females around us but we cannot touch them. So many actually willing partners but no way to get together as the society's taboos and dogmas have to be obeyed.
Alcohol and drugs are taken to forget and forcefully release ourselves from these bonds. It becomes an unchained melody and soon people do not wish to return to saner lives.
Of course the irresponsibility that is accepted by society under alcohol is therefore prized.
23 But in what do we put our FAITH in?
Simply repeating (wishfully & aimlessly) the name of some God won't serve the purpose.
The mind needs with its entire faculty to criticize, analyze, reason, memories and acceptance procedures needs to be involved in the exercise.
Until the subconscious has joined the bandwagon nothing moves in our spiritual world.
So the first objective should be to examine the body of knowledge in which we are reposing our Faith......it has absolutely to be near the Truth as possible but then what group or individual will give us this body of knowledge and when doing this "asking", we are back to square one of our quandary
Why are we so weak on commitments? This is where the ills of humanity begin. We are for some reason made this way. Call it by whatever name like Bluffing, Lying or Cheating the fact remains that our foundation is shaky and we speak without intent. The philosophers call it INSINCERITY but it is more than that. Humans make statements, Commitments based on the mood of the moment. They mean it for the moment. Tomorrow is another day. This is the psychological truth of our natures and general character but we do not accept it as we project ourselves as sincere, honest and indulgent people; something that we are deep-down not and considering the life we are forced to live on this planet, it cannot be otherwise. There are different grades of concentration of sincerity in this; every individual being at a different level. Some are absolutely insincere from the day go and are non-corrigible and there are others who are basically sincere and honest but sometimes life's weight and strain can be too much and they have to break their vows and they do so involuntarily with a heavy heart but necessity can be a hard master.
The point I wish to make is that humanity has no future unless and until it starts taking its commitments seriously. We are wasting a lot of time, energy and resources in negating each other. They say what does not kill us teaches us and builds us up. Perhaps the time has come to help providence change its tactics. Every word we utter has to be with intent and act as written in stone. It is good moral discipline. Once "in" we are in and there can be no way to wriggle out of the commitment and arrangement. You marry; you stay married. You have children you stay put and see to it that they mature well and get ready for life onward. You quote a price and delivery; you do it. You take a job; you deliver. You give a job; you become responsible for the person. You make a promise; you don't forget it. You make a mistake; you acknowledge it. When somebody stands by you; you don't ever forget it and remain in debt forever.
But these are farfetched thoughts. Humans are not even able to commit to their health and own well-being; what should we expect from them for others?
Humans need to stand by each other otherwise this world as it is, painful, unreliable and a torment to existence will remain as it is. All our talks of God, philosophy, Ethics are simply ripples on the surface of the pond; meaningless waste of time and energy and resources -- as we see these practices in operation, they are all charades based on our insincere dramatic abilities.
Nothing at all is going to ever ease the burden of living whatever the comfort level we achieve thru technology and policing. Just like cockroaches cannot be policed or controlled nothing can be done unless we first start policing ourselves.

...saved for how long?
And was the saving necessary; by whose thinking?
We'll save more lives by stopping the useless wars and violence, the depraved human tendencies of hurting others for our pleasure.
Talking of medicine, how many are we saving every day? The way medicine is being practiced today, the violence involved is tremendous. Some procedures are worse than the disease. The drugs overwhelm the body with side-effects that would make one to want to die.
The focus is on saving lives even if they live badly thereafter.
Can death be avoided; for how long?
My words will blow in the wind but still I would like to say:
We knowingly often lead badly lived lives.
Then we expect too much from medicine.
We do not learn about the medical approach; the treatment is worse than the illness and often totally unnecessary as it only makes money for the medical industry which it has now de facto become.
Why have we abdicated all responsibility for ourselves?
My Ayurveda doctor would ask what sense of responsibility is this that knowingly one inches towards death as in cancer and cleans out the house ( by opting for ruinously expensive treatments) so that people after him cannot survive either.
In life, we compromise with many things by adjusting life to our purchasing power. But in medicine we do not exercise this volition.
Meaningless postulates.
Here I give an example of short slabs of wisdom that are spread around which no one ordinarily can question or relate to. Most of the books on philosophy, lectures by religious leaders and such others come in this category. Useless and pointless and lead nowhere but into confusion if at all. Example [Haribol Acharya: The SELF is a big obstacle. Lose it and you will find yourself.]
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari: who is the SELF? Give me an answer that even my maid will understand and relate to. Then it is of some worth.
24 A closed door is too much temptation.\
I can't believe the cruelty some people inflict for the fun of it. These are movements that I speak of in my book CRUELLY YOURS. Humans are conduits thru which the cruel spirit-world works. Our faculties that jump to conclusions, imply insults, accuse others, misunderstand and think the worst, rationalise avenging thoughts, listen to unfounded gossip etc all assist cruelty to work thru us. I have borne every kind of mishap one can think of and been hurt in every possible way. (It is my fault as I poke my nose into everything). Destiny also appears to have something against me -- or so it seems.
Now I am so scared and am so allergic to the movements that bring theses hurts that I cannot even think of them, leave alone let them happen thru me.
Sally Boult
We all have to bear cruel treatment at times, and we are probably cruel too. When we grow older we learn to be kind and realize cruelty is the property of the instigator and doesn't relate to us at all. It's a pity we didn't learn this earlier on, but that's what getting older is all about.
Pradeep Maheshwari True. Very true but then nobody talked about it to me when I was young either or I would have become aware and considered it more and tried to regulate my anger then.
We may well think that we are making a difference, that change is happening because we are bringing it in, that life can be directed to flow as we think it should be going and such wonderful things but what is happening in reality? Imagine a huge anaconda of at least 100 meters long and at least 5 meters high with an indestructible outer that cannot be touched moving along the same path as yours. You are but a minuscule speck compared to him. The anaconda moves and the earth obeys him. The earth has no choice. The anaconda rules. You at your end may build shelters, go fishing and hunt small animals and feel that you are doing great things and in the evening by the fire you may tell of your people of all the new developments you engineered. All very impressive but it is all there only till the anaconda has passed. Then all is obliterated and your life snuffs out soon enough. More people come suffer the same fate and life on earth goes on.
Think about it. This is where we are in the scheme of things. The achievement if any would be to learn to ride the anaconda.
25 There is something on my mind
These people who have a lot of money due to unforeseen reasons like "pensions" or entitlements that governments give to employees or these multi-millionaires who became rich due to some diligent actions OR
Even take natural richness like beautiful women.....of what use and purpose does it all come to.
Example: the rich employee living on hefty pensions but has no real aspiration to better himself or hobbies or interests to grow like travelling or reading or creating a painting. Nothing. They are simply existing with a lot money in the bank which their progeny will waste away later......
Example the multi-millionaire who does not even know how much money he has but he needs to show off and be the center of attraction in a mutual appreciation society till death do them part....
For example the really beautiful woman who can mostly aspire to land a husband, usually a bum, and soon laden with children and responsibilities does not even care if she is beautiful. She does not see herself anyway but she knows she is desired yet of what use all this?
It is such a sad scenario.
When we talk of "quality" of life, and the health of Mother Earth.....the factors of engagement change.
The "MOST" have become just too many, too careless and too consumptive and Mother earth on which the sky scrapers are being built is on the verge of collapse.
The load is simply too high. (pun intended)
Having children is just one miniscule component of life as I see it. We need to simplify (as Thoreau said), reduce our "wantings" (as Jung said), and burden the earth only with what we really actually require and NOT desire (Every damn philosopher has said).
This means becoming a student of simplicity and living with an intelligent thought out plan, this will then transform our lives into plenitude.
We would become more circumspect and not over load our lives with non-essentials and useless appurtenances both in thought and action.
We would have then time to enjoy our lives and live relaxed joyful lives with a lot less than what we need when we live irresponsibly.
Children should form part of this philosophy as a whole.
Yes we who fly into petulant rages forget that we all will be just some random atoms in some years hence.
The shapes all forgotten and the deeds entombed.
What fears beset these people in these moments long gone. How similar were their feelings and the outcomes of their yearnings?
Great sounding advice.
How and where do I begin?
What have been doing wrong? What have I been taught wrong?
I tried to relearn many things following the advice received from all sides.

Like they say love yourself: I see people becoming more and more self-engrossed.
They say show them the other cheek: I end up with more hurt as they are happy to oblige.
Give them enough and they will not cheat or lie or misbehave in their duties: I saw no change. They became lazier and more irresponsible.
Feed the hungry: I did and they forgot to hunt for themselves and became beggars.
Stand up for yourself: I did and got shunted out of every group and gathering.
Follow Live naturally like eat when hungry and sleep when sleepy: How can I do this when I am required to work by the clock of my employer?
Live naturally and eat nourishing food: How? The fruits are all pesticide laden. The water is poisoned. The food is processed with Trans- fats and additional taste and color enhancers. The air is polluted with smog.
What exactly are you talking about?
26 My response to the conversation below:
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
To Edward Stanulevich IV Exactly. What is being discussed is a concept. A thought to consider.
But people cannot discuss a subject until they can relate to it personally and mostly show themselves in a comparative good light. So I see these comments as reflections of the commentators about their selves.
Here the point is how Vanity and Possessiveness has been raised to the point of highest virtue and goal of life.
Exactly like the concept of "Go forth and DO and conquer and amass" has been the operative philosophy of mankind.
Exactly like having a bimbo on yours arms (see the movies of gangster tycoons) is equated with love and upper class status.
.........
PS: Sanjay Kapoor, as individuals we are only examples to understand the bigger concepts. We will grow only when we think bigger than our own being. How is this post a rigid point of view?
Sally Boult: The next step in evolution would be to think and philosophise beyond the perimeters of our "selves". This can happen only when we stop seeing ourselves as "arrived" individuals.
Sanjay Kapoor
At what point do we stop having rigid points of view that justify judging others ?
Sally Boult
Sanjay Kapoor We mustn't judge others, because we don't want to be judged. Who knows what someone else is going through? Or the motivation behind what they have done? As Jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone".
Sanjay Kapoor
Sally Boult ah I know I agree with you lol
Edward Stanulevich IV
Sanjay Kapoor I'm not taking it as judging others. I'd say it's more a commentary on how we have systems in place that allow a small handful of people to control the vast majority of resources and wealth. There are obvious inherent flaws in this system where many struggle and suffer for the greed of the few. This greed being rewarded and promoted by these systems as not only healthy but desirable.
Could it not be that these ultra-rich are as much victims of this system as anyone?
Sanjay Kapoor
Edward Stanulevich IV Yes, there is a factual reality, and then a higher way to see reality...factually you are correct I feel, but if you can accept and view all the players involved with compassion, you can be more effective in helping --- in my opinion 🙏
Sanjay Kapoor
Somewhere if this perturbs you too much your faith in God is not strong enough --- all may not be ideal, but we are moving from one perfection to another...in a way, all has always been perfect and complete, God loves us, and is very intelligent, and anything happening is for the supreme good...IMO.
If you don't realize that to whatever extent, to that extent all your service and activism is motivated by your own quest for happiness, not genuine intelligent service, and will be less effective.
Does it make sense?
Edward Stanulevich IV
Sanjay Kapoor which part of what I wrote isn't viewing all involved with compassion?
I disagree that being perturbed or even disturbed by the suffering of others is a sign of insufficient or weak faith. I'd argue the opposite. If anything sufficient faith should motivate us to act to help others. We should be a disturbed by how broken the system is.
Sanjay Kapoor
Yes, I see your point, but what I am suggesting is a little delicate...of course we should notice the injustice, and there is a lot of it, and for seva(service) it is very good to feel the pain of others, but I just don't think in the highest perspective we should lose our smile, as if we get disturbed it clouds our judgment
Sanjay Kapoor
I could be wrong, but I draw a lot more strength from my Gurudev's smile and centeredness than any political commentator's rage
There are many ways of showing and manifesting anger.
At the lower strata of our social scale I find people are tend to use ABUSE as the vehicle to show their anger. They will use abuse -- real and imagined, cook up reasons, use the choicest invective and even threaten leaving no margin for not coming to blows. The more physical types even come to blows. Violent crimes ensue.
People at the upper level of strata in the social scale tend to keep smiling and back-stab you and cut you out from their will. Their invectives are highly polished and never deviate from the issue but if you are seen as a danger like highly placed rogues tend to do, the chances are that you will find yourself floating face down in the river real soon.
Unadulterated impractical and improbable bullshit masquerading as high sounding wisdom; example: "To understand humans, see from unprejudiced and unbiased alien's eyes." The truth if any is to be found more in this para: When we really start to take a look at who we think we are... we start to see that while we may have various thoughts, beliefs, and identities, they do not individually or collectively tell us who we are. [And yet] it is astounding how completely we humans define ourselves by the content of our minds, feelings, and history. Adyashanti
27 As an aside on love
There is no loving others.
All irritations happen when we try to love others and expect to be fulfilled thru others.
BE love if you can be.
Others may not allow you to come near them. That should not be an issue but we do make the mistake of expecting much from others
Very rare is the person who agrees to the fact that humans are still very cruel and their love is entirely a selfish movement. That our love is possessive and controlling and there is a great amount of attention seeking in it.
We have convinced and hypnotised ourselves that we as a species are above Mother Nature and made in god's image that we drew in the first place - and all our emotional reactions like anger and the need to punish or burn others at the stake are god's(sic).
We are made more in the image of the demons and living a lie.
It is my experience that when we talk of a subject in general the responses if any are from the point of view of the personal.
Very few have enlarged their consciousness to encompass the masses in general and life as a whole.
Do we ever reflect how miniscule our part is in this great play that is life on earth?
When we come across something outside of us we find points to contradict or criticize with an end to obfuscate and create arguments to avoid dealing with the subject or impose our own point of view.
Although I would gladly accept that most are having finely tuned togetherness on a pragmatic level
I don't think even one in a thousand would admit that their relationships have become insipid, block their deep seated aspirations and have doused desires into cool ashes.
They all speak of the great love they have and the joy and happiness blah blah blah.
BUT YOUR EYES speak different and those who know how to read the language of the eyes can see thru it all.
Group psychosis.
They were happy to allow the Inquisition to happen and women being burnt as witches. Mass robbery and slavery was their modus operandi. Going all over the globe making war on some trumped up excuse is the way they think. Do you think they will stop at anything?
The mindsets have not really changed; only some of the outer manifestations.
Entitlement and appeasement are Evil.
Nature and character are whatever they are. They flower outwards based on the roots in instinct and learned habits.
The pig will gorge when given more and better facilities to feed itself. It will end up hurting itself into disease and worse.
The Ass will bray louder and kick more when happy and make an exhibition of his self when given more and better pastures.
We humans understand this and even call humans pigs and asses as abuse.
But in society we continue to adopt this attitude that people will improve themselves, will show consideration and kindness if they are given the luxury of a safe and fulfilling life.
Generally speaking this is a lie. 99% of the times the worst side normally surfaces under lack of restraint.
People follow their tendencies and not always intelligently. Things would go a lot better if this was considered in our planning and assumptions.
What we think has no connection with reality. It is our little world. It may or may not reflect, encompass Reality.
It is always about how comfortable we are we are with our thoughts and feel connected.
The consequences of actions that we engender because of our thinking are the big stories of this world.
It is all one big fun party this visit of a lifetime on earth.
Yesterday I received this reply : "the excess of it imperils humanity as a matter of fact. Let us keep ourselves in check if we are overly narcissistic. If it is so we must scrap it or else ......".
The words "..we must scrap it..." shows our mental approach to life. It is based more on what it should be rather than what it is and how best we can tackle it. As if our mere wanting will make it so.
The best example is our "godmen" always talking of higher consciousness and such and our religions always taking of heaven and such. Everyone talks of Kindness, Compassion and love as if all we need to do is talk about it and it will become so.
And this has been going on since the beginning of mankind and as yet no change is to be seen.
When shall we pay attention the little imp in us who cannot even control his temptation for another bite?
Narcissism is built into the human persona and gives it the drive. All it needs is kindness re-jigged into the persona;
But creating awareness for this need is the first big hurdle which is virtually insurmountable.
This is such a basic difficulty that all our vedas, upanishads and literature on yoga has been dealing with this question since thousands of years.
Unfortunately resistance to change is strongly built into the narcissism aspect and it cannot be broken into by simple words and reasoning.
{width="4.1in" height="4.405352143482065in"}
There is a modern tendency in corporate offices, schools etc to make people go on picnics and group sports like trekking and boating etc as an officially mandated activity.
The idea being that this will improve connectivity among members. It is resulting in the opposite as it is throwing up the weaknesses of people out for all to see.
The populace of today carries its pride on its sleeve and is not out there to learn but to show how great they are.
Today there is a lot of arrogance and nothing to be arrogant about.
Enlightened people couldn't be bothered one way or another.
When the narcissistic side of us thinks of "enlightenment" it is normally thinking of a grander and more powerful personality for itself.
And this pursuit itself is obnoxious to the enlightened persona.
I have never understood the "WHY" behind this craziness of following someone at all.
A good singer - listen to the singing and that is it.
A good writer - read the book and that is it.
A good actor - see them on the stage and screen and that is it.
What interest can there be in knowing what they ate for breakfast and what toothpaste they use?
Is it not obvious that we give them power over us and thru them the corporations that they represent by following them and using exactly what they advertise.
28 Sugar or no sugar
Often when we are asked this question while being served tea or coffee, It is sad how being sick has now been accepted as normal. I have noticed a thought surging in me: "If I say no, people will think I am sick. If I say yes they will think I am not conscious of my health and still continue with my bad habits or what."
I normally reply that I would prefer to be offered sugar as an aside and I will serve myself. For that matter I prefer that they allow me to make my coffee too.
In our families there is always either too much milk or too much sugar in the ready-to drink cups that are served. Consuming these abominations without hurting the sentiments of the host become a test of my soul.
The truth is I hate to be seen as sick and I don't like sugar much. I have put a lot of effort to educate myself and have cultivated good habits based on the knowledge I have gathered. I want this to be recognized and secretly dream of the day of some appreciation.
This is vanity and I know it.
Which brings me to the point I wish to make.
How often do we continue with our bad habits to project the persona of our youthful days?
So by what process, by what means, how are we going to bring this shift in human nature?
Judging it is fine but do you want it to change or just understand it?
Malachy Matthews
Lol do you know a funny thing that occurs to me that we refer to 'abusive people' as 'they'. No. Human nature is all baked from the same material and is one cake. We all share the capacity to be 'abusive'. Have you never been so? Am I so perfect? Who am I to judge another?
{width="4.1in" height="2.870647419072616in"}
If we become more aware of our arrogance and self-importance as a race, we might be kinder and more loving toward each other and this desperate searching for 'categories' such as 'abusive people' as a group to blame might set us free.
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari To Malachy Matthews; Agree. This is why I am so focused on it. I am becoming aware, trying to be conscious at all times, observing and noting (what you call judging) and making sure as far as my control permits, to not allow this movement to take place in me.
Words words words that is all there is after all is said and done.
The words then get buried in books and the writers in boxes. Pk
All the effort goes in avoiding reality because that would demand looking for answers. What have we done to ourselves?
It is a matter of making the others fit into our mental world. Always complicated and well-nigh impossible. Pass the opportunity.
Talk is all we do.
That is considered enough action taken. Pk
We are totally alone. All the time.
We may touch bodies but not the minds and that makes us alone and impervious. pk
- Just words.
I come back to an old-age stand that I have always taken about talking of things that nobody is really interested in -- especially in the realm of philosophy, occult and enlightenment.
All this talk to the layman of the Gita, Of Vishnu Puranas, how things happen in the After-life and Moksha and how the soul chooses birth or life is BUNKUM. Totally pure intellectual gymnastics that does nothing to enrich our journey and serves only to while away our time. It is like serving tea in a cup without a bottom. Meaningless to all those tired entities at work in the fields that feed us and the rest who have to finds means to earn enough to purchase the food.
As Gary Jones says: "just words" to most of them.
PK: It amounts to giving answers to those who do not remotely even have a question.
When there is no question then the mind is not imagining anything. We are at fault when we try to sway others into thinking about things that they are not ready to be able to comprehend and IF they did they would only misunderstand and disturb their equanimity and spoil their lives without good reason unnecessarily.
Most I suppose would skim over the words and promptly forget them.
Most people don't take their minds that far and that would be 99% of them.
I have read of the 10 commandments in the Indian texts too somewhere.
The cultures of Mesopotamia, the Vedic times, Greeks and Egyptians etc. all are worth and were important in their times and have lessons valid even today.
I have finally come to the conclusion that the time has come to ditch all this nonsense as not relevant to our times.
But people are comfortable with their beliefs as something to latch on and they exist because of them so there is very little we can do to change minds. It is a waste of time to try and spend energies explaining it.
I think it would be a good idea to junk in entirety the writings and stories from religious bodies/religions from times earlier than about 2 centuries ago. They may be kept as subjects for comparative studies but that is about all.
I prefer to follow the more recent saints like Sri Aurobindo, Guru Nanak, Rumi and such and philosophers like Bertrand Russell, Jung.
Every age is producing eminently revered saints and philosophers and what they say is more relevant today and who speak and guide as completely and authentically as any of the older religions and books.
The Truth being eternal, why are we giving so much importance to garbled messages from thousands of years ago is the way I think about it at all.
So many talented people are ending up homeless/jobless/aimless. Why? The question: Why and How these talented people end up down the empty road?
If I go by my own life, I would say it is because of ATTITUDE, values of decency and highest aspirations that are impractical in this world and the possibility of having hurt too many people in the process. Too many values and nobody having taught us the value of giving value to the decision making power of others and how heartless life is.
How a roof on our head matters more than purity of intentions.
How our values are irritants to others and totally of no value whatsoever in the Bread-earning-program. Like being Honest in the land of thieves - every word will be used against you and even those that you never uttered!
And to end this discussion here is a quote from me:
People are so busy being clever that they have no time to be intelligent.
Observe, anyalyse but do not pass judgment.
Do whatever you can to make it better.
To make a change we achieve results only by keeping the mind fixed on the subject.
So look at the factor involved in you, in others in action, in how it is affecting the info received thru news and stories.
When you are constantly aware of it you can notice its action in yourself and be so conscious of it that you can change its course by using your Will.
Eventually by regular instigation the habitual reflexes will change and new patterns establish in the subconscious.
More and more I meet people that leave me with the impression that they are not listening. The very first evidence is that they never seem to answer "the question".
Secondly what I say and what they hear is obviously at a variance because what we are telling them and what they do are quite evidently different. There seems to be an insistence that whatever they have decided is what IS and there is no reason for them to be giving you and your words much further importance. As if they have something to prove.
Yesterday I had 3 cases of this nature happening I wondered if it was the influence of planets or something else. I ordered medicines by phone and there was a new boy at the counter. So I ask him if he has Astymin Z and Eye lubricating drops called Tearex. I had to repeat because he was also talking to someone, and paying attention to his computer as I could hear the keys tapping. Finally what I received was Astyfer and Itone; 2 totally different products that I have ordered before but not this time. Notice that the first letters of the names are near to what I was saying -- which makes me think that he did not listen to anything I was saying because he determined by the first letter and the info on his computer this is what I must be asking for. I had a visitor and while he was leaving I asked him how he intended to travel. He answered that he would be taking the bus from the LSR stop. So I explained to him that my wife is also leaving and will be taking the bus and I shall be dropping her at the bus stand and she will show him the point which is nearer home. On reaching the point my wife got out but he would not. I had to tell him that he should go with my wife. He insisted that I drop him at the LSR stop and got off in a huff and later my wife told him he just went away on his own. My wife took the bus and on the next stop he also entered the same bus and was surprised to see her there! He had the decency to ask her how she was there and she told him that she took the bus from where I had dropped them. Then there are the conversations on FB. I was totally shot down in one conversation as if I did not exist. We were not even talking on the same subject. But the reply was so highly in the sense of showing me my error that I was shocked that someone I regarded so highly would be shooting my down without even looking or trying to understand what I had written. This is happening way too often nowadays. This is behind the misunderstandings and prejudices and quarrels we are now seeing in greater numbers. Most often it does not matter greatly but it does show our mental dissociation with life. The medicines were returned. The man went to the farther bus stop. The comment was shot down. None of it really matters. We close the chapter and move on. But what happens when it is in a closer relationship like marriage, between family members or between employee and boss? What disaster would happen if the nurse took this attitude in surgery or somebody on a warship responsible for firing the guns? The insistence on having one's way on the basis that we can never be in error and therefore the other person is judged to be irresponsible, not-caring and not to be trusted is making us lose opportunities and breaking good relationships for no good reasons at all. We have allowed ourselves to be distracted to a point that the brain has lost its faculty of focus and retention of info. A lot of people come to my door and telephone that they have arrived. It is funny how many times I am now told that they did not see the door and the bell at all!!!!!
I read yesterday that a lot of animals arrive at enlightenment but we don't come to know of it so we think it is something that doesn't exist.
In the Ashram in Pondicherry, The Mother used to talk about a cat who regularly meditated with her and She said that the cat was miserable being stuck in a cat's body.

Once, at the ranch house, I heard the cattle across the railroad tracks, about a mile away, bawling with some distress. I took off running. Got there and discovered that the cows had eaten all the good stuff off the forest floor and were gathered at a gate into a fallow field that was growing over with some good grass. I opened the gate and let them in. They crushed through like the flood behind a bursting glacier. I crossed the fence to get out of the way. All the cattle spread out and started eating.
EXCEPT ONE: one Black Angus cow did not run to the grass. She stood solid in the middle of the flood of cows and studied me. I realized that she, alone, out of 64 others, realized I had heard and responded to their distress. Her awareness rose about the herd, rose above her stomach, and stood her above the others in that way.
She had always shown a gift for unpredictability and I had no choice but to respect her. Dangerous, I had thought. But she wasn't a mad cow, she was moving toward enlightenment.
Yes there are millions of people who have much good to say. We cannot make it our business to read them all. It is best to create one's own little group of messengers who satisfy our need for answers and then LIVE the answers. This is the main issue and should be if not.
Most people just read and read and go out as stupid as they came; for the simple reason they never put any of it in practice. Reading is an intellectual game for them and it remains confined to the mind and it all dies with the mind.
After a few hundred or even a few thousand books, stop reading and begin living.
You will find that a few sentences/friends here and a few sentences there as life makes them available to us will do us all the good we really need.
A teacher can only clarify and substantiate and thereby make the way clearer but even He cannot teach you something beyond your experience and the limits of your mind. (He can talk about it but you will understand the words only when your own experience corresponds to it)
The mind is not an instrument that will permit you to go beyond its "self". Until the Soul from within comes in the forefront nothing of import will happen. For the Soul to break through even slowly, the cycle of birth and the painful adventures are the best teacher. If we can we should make people understand that a guide/guru/teacher can only help speed up the process - not instigate it.

Why do I feel like the public school system has abandoned our children? (...Just venting)
Pradeep PK Maheshwari: Was it ever for the "CHILD"?
Has the child ever been our concern (humanity as a whole)?
A child is mostly unwanted by-product with our minds focused on the future and the role the child will play in our satisfied lives or be a source of profit in some way.
Isn't it funny how we plan our future on our children but do not prepare it for the future or rather I would say we are so busy in our selfish ways that it never occurs to us to prepare the children for the future properly.
There is also this question: Do we at all understand this purpose of education for the future?
Is Power based on Lithium batteries the answer? Laws of physics: Nothing can be added or lost. A gain here is a loss there and vice versa.
These postulations of Greener technologies are only so apparently. It is good marketing by spin doctoring the words.
The concept of cars is on its way out but personal snob comfort attitude is keeping it alive. The big factories they have made need to be made to run to keep them in clover. Transition to new energy methods and concepts takes time but yet none of the solutions being propounded as "green" are really green.
Additionally as a stop gap arrangement they have for the time being managed to convince that electrical cars are at least taking the fumes out from the cities.
BUT eventually the answer is here: 1) Decongest the cities
2) Make the transport leaner and smaller and as far as possible "common for the group"
Everywhere in every domain I see a withdrawal of intelligence and snuffing out the desire to surpass.
It is like those people that insist all life's knowledge is in in the one book and that is enough as learning as wisdom: The Bible and the Koran people are the foremost on this high horse.
What these Bible and Koran thumpers don't know or cannot do is either devilish or not required and sacrilege.
In a marriage, there's really no such thing as 50-50... Each gives 100%, filling in where the other needs it.

PK:
Yes.
What a curious way of interpreting it.
This statement came into being 50 years ago when white collar executive workers considered themselves above the general populace and at home men did nothing. The cultural ethos was promoted by advertising as the American dream.
Having a home, a dutiful wife, car, washing machine and refrigerators were the essentials.
Now we are not happy with it all.
If we look closely, a home is made of hard work by one who stays at home and the other who fulfills duties outside the home and maintenance of the home.
If there is an anomaly, it is and I have seen this more often than not, the woman does NOT LIKE the man to disturb her household arrangements and actually desires that the men stay away from her domain.
What has always intrigued me is this demand of the human kind for "Privacy".
Peace and quiet I can understand but privacy?
What does it exactly really mean inside our heads?
What is privacy to the Englishman is nothing but sham to the Polynesian?
So what exactly is it?
* Life is not a simple matter of making tea: Add tea leaves to hot water!
Life is more like modern ice cream; a product of technology. It tastes good, looks correct, smells right, and feels nice, lasts perfectly long enough but it is a chemically processed product.
.Is this world really upside down?
This whole world seems to be upside down.
When I was 16, The Mother of Sri Aurobindo Ashram (Pondicherry) gave me a book in which she spoke that humanity was really all upside-down. Then I accepted it because she said so but could not for the life of me see how.
But now I can't find much upside-UP either.
Rather I am so at logger-heads with everything I see that I would prefer to leave and go for a long walk like Gautama Buddha did.
* Where people need to be pushed to become, awareness never comes. Advising people to take this attitude or that are a waste of time. Those who see or/and are aware realise also that it is none of their business to goad and advise others.
If others see their awareness or not is of no importance whatsoever.
We can discuss our views but let us refrain from choosing the way for others.
Our job at best can be to answer questions by the light of our knowledge but in no way can anyone be dogmatic about it.
Let us all be first aware of - Do we know? What do we know? How do we know that we know?
Is there anything to accomplish? Can we really accomplish anything?
* I was asked what is Sadhana?
To me it is the part where we first accept that there is room for change for the better in us.
Then we observe ourselves.
And finally we try to stop the things we do not like with our will with sincerity and objectivity.
Quite often the answers are there in front of us but we are not open to them because of other personal agendas. Life grinds surely and slowly. One day comes when all of us have to, by force of exigencies; accept the truth glaring at us.
We think with desires inbuilt. This is where the problems begin. We need to learn to wish less with the mind and bring to boil our whole persona in turmoil and often put others in turmoil too as far as our influence extends.
* Spiritual oversimplification exists in the form of generalised quotes and advice. Normally they come from people who have progressed intellectually but have not realised or lived beyond their mind as yet or are backed by direct experience. They have great width of knowledge and see the interconnections more clearly than most but lack the depth of understanding that comes from intuitive contact with the Cosmos. If you have a question, it would be best to depend on one's own experience and intuitive abilities.
* Life on Earth today is the result of collective unconsciousness. We are all in it with our inconscient behaviour "tamas" (indolent, irresponsible and callous). Let not moral principles cloud the path we each need to take as our personal effort. Who is living, dying or suffering is beyond our comprehension. Let's leave these heavy matters on the shoulders of the Creator. Let us focus on the little we know, the more that we need to learn. There are many realized souls roaming this earth with the express intention of helping us all on the way. Let us ally with them, enjoy their company and partake of their presence.
29 The Soul is orchestrating our Destiny
If we learn the lessons we need to, to advance on the way, it will be tough but with minimal misadventures. Otherwise, the Soul is not averse to organise a "skin-alive lashing" to speed up the process.
* At the immature human level up to the realised person and the thousand and one possibilities between the two, the word "love" is understood in as many ways.
* Fly away
Trying to better the life of others is a trap based on our sense of virtue, virtuousness. It can mask our own need for approval as well as our need to be busy with externals and avoid looking deeply into our own lives. Free yourself of a big burden - to be in the right vis-a-vis others, to be seen as impressive, to need approval from others.
It is sad; the amount of energy we spend trying to relate and be seen as "correct".
30 My take on all this Prachar
(spreading of the word) and Pracharaks (the spreaders) to enlighten the populace: Words, complicated words, these are mere words; you can't reach them thru words. I think all this need felt by many to explain and spread the word of Gurudev/Master/God is a sheer waste. Perhaps it may make the Pracharaks feel good and grand and they would explain it to themselves as doing the Lord's work.
* The Biggest conspiracy is the one The Creator is playing out. Ever think what He is getting out of it all?
31 A good reminder
Time to be children again and revive our breath.
What are you so proud of? How long will you be?
Look at these structures and the sun.
The sun has been peeping through these temples since hundreds of years.
Who is really worthy, greater, stronger? ...The Sun, the Granite, or you?
* Grow up and acknowledge the truth of your being.
The operative word is "futile".
That is how it all feels.
Did the world shake from all the effort and changes you tried to make?
Will it keel over and collapse if you are not there?
If you withdraw and sulk, will anyone care or come looking for you?
NO!
But then we have to wake up and deal with reality. I would not waste a second on wondering of the ignoble or noble elsewhere. My hands are full with myself.
It is internal. It is our cleverness and naive belief that we are in control and that we are virtuous and that God is on our side and finally that our wishes are made to be granted.
And then there are all these posts since the beginning of time that exhort you to be "yourself and that you can do it and that you have all it takes to achieve your desires" - it muddles you up to no end.
* What can you do when people abdicate their right to use their intelligence and minds?
Amazingly beautiful. But I am not sure I fully understand the need of humans not wanting to die even after death and others not wanting to forget them. Only the "living" who knew someone in their lives can have lingering memories. Memories are born with us and die with us so then the chances that anyone will remember anyone after a gap of 30-60 years is none. Yet we fill up the land with tombstones when there isn't enough to live on.
People first build strong, impenetrable walls around them, then pride themselves on their exclusive problems and show their selves off as "virtuous" who are ready to try everything and that they actually have.
These are big mind/subconscious games people play with themselves.
Are they really looking for solutions?
* I am amazed at the amount of trouble and pain we are prepared to bear to prove we are better and different. Take a reality check by observing the continuous laments about the world around it. Are we interested in improving our lot?
* How do we make our life difficult? Here are two thoughts to mull over:
1) We prefer living in the memories of past glories instead of worrying about the coming days. We are so busy putting an indelible stamp of greatness on everything we do that we forget we have to live with the aftermath of our decisions and acts.
2) People first build strong, impenetrable mental walls around them made of "conditions, rules, appropriate behaviour and habits", and then pride themselves on their exclusive problems as the world does not fit into it.
* I have seen people advising all and sundry including me to run off to people/places where we would be appreciated more; that finally I can't contain myself and need to speak out.
Ok. I am "tolerated", even quite disliked where I am but show me one place elsewhere that would be even ready to tolerate me, leave alone appreciate me and would be ready to keep me as a loved one till the end of my days.
These kinds of advices are so "mushy" and can take people on a sentimental journey which may only end in depression. We should be more careful when we are showing others the way.
We are all suffering from the fever of smugness; expecting that the world is there solely to take care of us that people will think well of us and will do the best for us. We are simply not ready for reality. This is what the sages call "illusion".
Whatever gives us this illusion that doctors, priests, counselors, teachers, superiors, parents, friends and all are always working and will always act for our best? The truth = Everyone is basically kind but they have their self-interest uppermost motivating them. And they may not even know what the best is for you. But they always know what is best for them and this is always the primary "raison d'etre" of their behaviour.
I firmly believe the need to be in control is coupled with excessive and continuous non-essential speech & action which is one of the reasons for exhaustion - even biologically (leading to fatigue-induced illnesses) and spiritual constipation.
It is really one way of avoiding life. Everybody (who as Confucius would call "superior") is talking about how all solutions are in Love, how perfect and divine we are and so forth. This becomes the perfect excuse to not do anything, bask in our own glory and laze in our inertia.
When somebody is putting up a show of being saintly, what is the first image he tries to create; that of a self-effacing virtuous person; never asking for anything. Refusing all offers, getting out of other's way, always humbly grateful and voluble about it and putting a big show of not wanting to impose on anyone. But, at the same time expecting to be revered for this "superior" behaviour. You have to only see into their eyes and it shows that it is all a cleverly orchestrated piece of theatrical production emphasizing: I am the pure of heart. I correct and bring order in this chaotic world. The world misreads me. When I judge it is constructive. When others do it, it is destructive.
Do we tell the water not to fall with such weight for it might hurt the rocks below?
But when one philosophises on the errors of the ways adopted by humans, there is always someone pointing out that we should not focus on what is not right - it is impolite. Everyone has the right to be!
I feel there is so much politeness now that we are sinking under its weight.
We cannot make jokes - somebody might be offended. We cannot speak of religion - somebody's faith is offended. We cannot comment on social practices - some group is bound to be offended.
Everyone has the right to give out positive criticism and also the right to not receive any.
As if we wish to suck life out and make creativity and tangential thinking an offense that offends.
I ask: Is this tolerance or intolerance? Are we being nice or complacent?
Is it our intelligence or our laziness at work to avoid looking at life in the eye?
** The faculty of "listening" does not exist -- the ones in control have no reason to and the others out of desperation simply don't want to.*
Arguments are fun for people who like arguments. I prefer to say what I want to say and let the other say his piece. And we stop there. No need to convince the other about it. Questions are welcome for the sake of clarification if so desired. But why argue? You take it or reject it. Sarcasm or slander to make your point is not a strong man's weapon.
Although I live with great hope in my heart and maintain the view "that I will know only when I do it", I have seen that there is a common thread repeating all the time. As if this will go on until I have learnt a specific lesson. Now after 75 years of the past to learn from, I can see from experience what will repeat itself and so the future is also clear if the necessary change is not forthcoming. So the future is not simply a lot of rumors. Rather it has become boringly predictable.
* *If you ask others about me everyone will have a different version of the story but then that is also something to learn from; everything can teach something I suppose.*
* *I think envy is part of the human make-up. People who have the courage to go their ways boldly are not deliberately attracting attention but they get it as a matter of course.*
Most of us would always like people to conform to our pattern of thinking; that is normal. Sometimes in life when somebody imposes himself on you, you have to stop them from overwhelming you. This is a practical thing. I like my freedom and will defend it. I don't think it is important to be seen as virtuous by everybody or anybody.
What signals are you giving out? Our entire life can be summed up in this one question. We are at any given time giving out 1001 signals. Some unconsciously, some sub consciously and some even consciously. The conscious ones are often sent out under the erroneous impression that we are making a certain impressive mark and more often than not we may be making the opposite impression totally. The art of successful living therefore, for me, means learning to sift through these signals and send out focussed and correct signals like a true-aimed arrow.
When we contradict another's idea or suggestion, does it show our enlightened state or narrowness of our thinking?
Too much stress on positive but self-centered outlook has created a major part of the imagined troubles of today.
The troubles that come when you want to shape the world to fit in with your wants in the name of freedom of speech and rights, ignoring the rights and presence of others - self-inflicted all of them. Knowledge of how things/Universe works removes the fear of the unknown and life totally. But most of us are not open to learning. Not even simple things that you can read in books like "How things work". It is so much more convenient to blame God and everything else.
The question I always ask: How much "learning" have you put in your life to "expect & hope" that mere wishing will make the manna drop from heaven.
The more we learn about every detail & process of life around us, the fear of the unknown reduces and when we see the interconnecting links, pettiness and narrow-mindedness reduces which translates in to more awareness and wider consciousness.
Most people go for some activity (so called spiritual practice) hoping it will do the trick of whatever they are wishing-primary to their wish to increase their personal power. This is very unbalancing. Hardly anyone wants to begin at the beginning. We want to buy a ticket on a rocket that we hope and are made to believe by some words will zoom us into the being that we are imagining. And the number of people who are launching themselves as guides is also legion.
* Should we help others?
What will constitute "help"? The Occult ramifications of this word are dangerously different for each person. Extend a helping hand in need seems to be the correct thing to do but it is my experience even this should be done only when asked thrice.
The hold of the inconscience through our puny minds is like a 4 ton chain with a 40 ton iron ball at the end. Some part of the mind does see the light but in the final analysis after all it is all just words being blurted out by the tongue or as nowadays, with fingers. Many have experienced something better and higher in consciousness, yet they fall back into their love for being stuck with their old selves. The chain needs to be broken but how?
I have always felt that we are where we are because of a reason. If destiny has brought us to a bridge then it has to be crossed whatever our fears and pain. Often the crossing of the bridge requires training, learning or we can say re-training and unlearning -- evolving. The western mind set goes for direct confrontation and looks for alternatives and discovery of new solutions/methods to cross over; which is a good thing.
Asking the mind to censor itself is rather a tall order.
There has to be a better way to become aware of the topsy-turvy world we are in.
And of course the very first thought that comes is how and what is wrong with things as they are?
Interesting are these questions but - what do you tell somebody who is in this state? : I know my "wants" (myself) - what else there could be?
Yet on the pragmatic side I would say, keep aspiring to better yourself - not just hoping and moping.
Effort with reason and within reason is essentially part of the brew.
* We do not have any rights in the Universe to interfere in the destiny of others. The question of imposing ourselves without permission does not arise; therefore the question of permission does not arise.
We tend to keep us ourselves "safe" by locking ourselves up. "Make for yourself a beautiful corner, but don't get irretrievably lost in it". The statement may look and sound innocuous, but this is precisely what we do - all of us - and we do it with it as our special aim and goal in life. It is self-entrapment of a grand kind. It will not bring you the freedom you desire.
* Are you ready for another day?
I have found the practice of thinking it over for a few minutes, quietly without sound or movement, before jumping out of bed, helps the subconscious to get its act together for the day.
How will that help me directly to improve my life? The subconscious is more in control than we think. This is the question alone that bothers me. The rest I leave alone.
It never seems to end. Sometimes you are afraid of another new day. Eventually one reaches a point in time when one refuses to fight and waits of deliverance. At this juncture one either slips into enlightenment or death for another inning.
Kindness already exists in us. Just see how people behave when their interests are in play. The need is to make it a permanent and most prominent feature of our persona because we have understood that what we sow is what we reap. What we send around is what is going to come around. It is in our self-interest.
* *Why do we need to fight for poverty? We already have more than we need of it.*
*And then the wars we create multiply the effect; so there is no chance there ever will be shortage of poverty.*
** Life is one long string of problems with short spaces in between. Some people have long spaces and some very short ones.*
** Now what have you fooled yourself into?*
** Where their little world is concerned, they are all very clever*
Back cover page: ----------------------------------------------------------
The time has come to leave the old mentality behind. We are not localized to our own tiny world of our villages anymore. There is no excuse to be thinking provincial at all.
The time has come to do some summer cleaning of our notions and thinking patterns that have carried humanity till date to the present age. Just think: who would have thought that it would be easy to know and connect 500 years ago with some tribal recipe in an island in the pacific ocean...even find somebody like a chef to talk to thru Google, Facebook or/and What's App?
Medical consultancy is available at the press of a button. Every or any product you can desire is delivered at your door thru some clicks. Thinking of new vistas is uncommonly easy and if we are open to new ideas, the number of people floating their ideas out are just about as many as there are people. This could also be the fly in the ointment as malevolent thinking is also prevailing. The only protection we have is to get seriously into experiencing and learning about life and its denominations. Experience will tell us what is true and show us the path to further learning and understanding.
This book contains my reactions and my narrative to expose the essentially mistaken notions that "seem" to be good but in the long run bring sadness in their wake. We have to out-think our own selves. Look way into the future. And this will not happen by keeping our minds closed to new ideas and stimuli. Because of the worldwide availability of ideas and notions, exclusivity as a protection against economic stability is gone. We have to be one-up and that will require constant effort and upgrading. This makes it imperative to get cracking by cracking open our brains to the concept of perpetual upgrading of ourselves to keep up with the "now".
There are two aspects to our lives. The personal and the Universal. We as one person are individuals in a Universal environment. It is awfully surprising when universal statements called generalisations and more-or-less touching all in a vast occult movement is taken personally and treated as something personal to feel offended or complimented.
This is not clear to me at all.
If we are going to see ourselves at the center of things and see the world only from our personal perspective based on our personal needs, ideas and preferences, how are we going to become large hearted enough to live in this huge wide world?
When we open our windows into the wide world and expect only to see what we "want" to see aren't we inviting a clash of realities?
We live an average of 50 years in the fully conscious mode of an adult human. We are what we are and what we do NOW is all we know. We wish to live LIFE to the full and we strive. Our limitations and limits are here for us to see and we have full knowledge of them all. This is as it should be. It cannot be otherwise.
Then why are we putting so much thought and energy into an afterlife. How and where did this concept of an afterlife come from? Has anyone come back to tell?
Even if there is, for argument's sake, why should it be wonderful while life here on earth is not?
Can't you see how the populace has been conned, confused and confounded so much so that all our waking moments are being lived with an eye of life AFTER this life has ended?
And the Con game continues with every person talking and advocating about how this Great being somewhere out there is keeping an eye on us and we need to coordinate our lives to meet his expectations otherwise.....They all know everything about it in great minute detail. Hey even talk as if they just had a beer with Him in the nearest pub.
I say it is all "SHUCKS" to think this way into nothingness.
Nothing on this planet will change until we get out of this pervading illusion we have created.
You know we have this word in Urdu written as "Shakhse" and pronounced as "shucks" which means "a person".
And humans feel they are in control of their thinking, behaviour and master of their fate. They simply overlook, ignore and forget that most of their learning is what they have been bombed with since day one.
Additionally they keep on repeating to themselves that they are masters of themselves and stay in the stupor of vague indeterminate illusion all the time.
These talks ( sermons) and all other talks unfortunately remain just that.
We are always talking of what could, should be done and when done all problems would solve. But human nature does not change by words. It does nothing except add to the words flowing around that help us hide our real selves and make the matters worse; like trying to make a wall with water as ingredient.
The wise people who give these talks, can't they see the reality of how human nature works, the roots of its existence in the earth's DNA? Then why and what are we doing by talking away? Change never came thru "talks". [Printed words at least last in some form or other]
Words flowing in the breeze. They keep flying around and people cover themselves up with mufflers (literally and figuratively).
What is needed is wisdom in the governing bodies that would know how to position judiciously rules and conditions that would quietly and insidiously by way of using the greed and fears of humans to act in a direction that will assist in rethinking and integration.
But all the ills that wise men talk of are what the governing bodies are afflicted with. They cannot think beyond these parameters. These talks are not needed by the sheeples but by the governing bodies who want to change human nature by laws and restrictions. This attitude itself shows how ignorant they are and that their motives are not honest
Who was Jesus and who was Buddha? They said this and they said that. No authenticity about anything and every soul on this planet has his own interpretation.
WHY are we so insistent on keeping these "Thought Patterns" alive?
To argue and waste time, to avoid really looking at what life is teaching us now; in the now and the immediate experiences, from the turmoils we are facing? This seems to be the only reason as far as I can see.
Time to let all this drop away.
Everyday, in the context of today life puts us thru 24hours of "happenings". Think of them. How did you manage? What did you say? How and why did the other guy behave as he did? Can we do better? What would have been the better approach? Why did I respond the way I did?
Resolution: Tomorrow when I get the chance again I will do better.
Forget the rest, the old collections of sayings, quotes and comments that help us rationalise and explain our defects. Stop the quarrels and the arguments. There is only one reality; that is "TODAY" and how we are going to behave, react to all the stimuli coming our way.
For guidance there are enough philosophers, writers, saints with authentically recorded books from the last 200 years to guide us very well indeed.
How do we recognise the difference?
Everywhere there has always been a division and distinction between the lower castes/class and the Upper castes/class. Call it what you will but there is something in our natures that stand out to delineate distinctly a difference in attitudes and based on these attitudes, the worldly education gets mixed up and create our behavioral patterns.
These things I have noticed make the naturally endowed character of certain beings to get classified into the lower caste/class:
1) Easily offended and cannot accept their lack of understanding or knowledge -- not even aware of it. The sense of insult is acute and they seem to be acutely alert to this. Their reactions are also very sharp and immediate.
2) Tendency to hide all under the carpet. Short sighted understanding of life makes them lie, confound and obscure issues to hide their lack of understanding and talent. They will lie without any fear of being found out. There is an element of shamelessness. They will rarely admit to being out of their league or perhaps wrong.
3) Inordinately proud of some talent that they really have. On that basis they judge themselves to be superior enough to ciritcise and find fault with others. Talk to them and the first thing they tell you is that they too "have seen the world". They are very sure of their wisdom.
4) They cannot hide their envy and fall prey to enticement. Their cleverness/cunning brings them to misery and makes it difficult to work or have long term associations with them. There is a feeling of non-dependability oozing out of them thru every pore.
5) Abuse and slang form their communication weapons.
6) Violence comes easily to them. A "NO" to them is easily construed as a rejection and being thwarted that raise their hackles and they will hurt you back in the most hurtful way possible and in their power.
7) One of the most glaring shortcomings is their need to show off and attract attention as being no less than others around them -- specially in quarters where they are obviously in a different class area.
Qualities like patience, strategy, planning, learning by association, effort to educate their selves are not often seen.
NOTE: the above has nothing to do with the having or not having money.

When life needs change. Some use words others use guns.
Individuals are seen are murderers. Armies are seen as conquerors.
Occultly it is the same movement.
As you say: Small minds who see the problem and go about solving it.

Seeing FB chatter about who was that Spa killer in Georgia targets. Some see it as against Asians, some against women.
People will see things as the will, just reality of life. The one thing I'm pretty sure of is it was definitely against his now dead victims.
Small people with small minds attempt to do, and do, big things in an attempt to be big. Sadly . . .

to Pradeep Pk Maheshwari ...Yes, too much emphasis exists on differences and thus what we are taught.
What human stage of development happens when the child is 'born'?
Pradeep Pk Maheshwari
At birth we are just starting again and a lot of experiences and vibes gets pumped into our lives before we are 16 or so. These are the foundations on which our future construction will continue. It is a flow of millions of different vibes. Every vibe will teach us something and leave behind an impression. Gradually our memories collect over many lives to make the mind open up to the question "...but what am I doing here? This is not worth it and the way things are, disgusting experiences seem to happen more than pleasant ones."
This is the book being written. One day, in one life (which one we really cannot predict).
And then we start looking for a better life, to find a way, actually seek answers and the repetitious nature of life does not interest us anymore.
The mind is drawn towards other ends and eventually will start connecting to the Intuitive mind. One day of its own, the glass ceiling will shatter.
At this point a new journey begins.
What baloney!
Of what use telling all this to FB members?
How does it advance the cause of humans, humanity or even personal growth?
Satinder Bhalla
You were never born.
Your existence did not begin and will not end.
This body-mind is a fleeting window of experience - when it ceases you do not cease. You cannot be liberated because you were never bound in the first place. The only prison is the prison of false belief, false ideas about transient existence. These were issued to you but they can be seen through. Seeing through them, your entire foundation falls away - this foundation is an extremely complex framework and encompasses every single thing you think you know. When that falls away, you are left, literally, with nothing. And it is just as it should be.
The first step is to see how much this false idea of independent, transient existence is at the very core of everything you believe. Then every single question you have, is found to arise from this false idea. Take away the idea and the question no longer arises. You find you cannot find one single question that doesn't assume a separate, transient existence.
Right this very instant, there is no such thing as a separate existence. Existence, if we can call it that, is all there is. That is appearing as every "thing" - all boundaries, all beginnings and endings, all form, all absence of form, suffering and the absence of suffering, each breath, each thought, each experience and the absence of experience. No "me" and no "you".
If we must speak of an "I" - an "I" that you know very well, an "I" that cannot be denied by any form of spirituality... we find that "I" is Life itself, Existence itself - we realize that "I" is not a new arrival but the very essence of anything that arrives, that "I" is not located BEHIND experience but is both the experiencer and the experienced.
Then those distinctions no longer make any sense.

Believe me I have remained that kid all along.
The world hated me for it and rubbed me the wrong way without respite.
This is not good advice although I am happiest of them all and always was.
I am trying to relate a thought experience but the words are not coming to me easily. I have felt many times that in certain relationships that as and when closeness starts to grow, I can feel an opposite atmosphere also starts to develop. Soon a nearly deliberate situation is allowed to happen and evolve which blasts out like an angry argument that takes the relationship back to YOU & ME as separate beings. My explanation is that the Spirits behind our characters are often too selfish to let go and merge in love and friendship. In many cases I have myself stayed away from relationships because the ties of gratefulness would trap me in a long silk string that would curb my own independence to follow my route. The more friendly contacts we have the more compromises we have to make.
Enlightenment happens when the mind after all the experiences in life, mostly the bad ones, realises that there has to be more to life than this and starts looking for answers in the and from the Universe. This opens the mind to the Intuitive mind where Truth can be learnt more easily.
Humanity accepts this as a Fait Accompli.
People who wish to go into the higher consciousness realms have to break this chain of old pattern of thoughts that comprise of platitudes, confirmed truths, accepted norms and such. We are using every old quote as authority to continue with our old ways.
Where will the change come from?
Otherwise we condemn ourselves to remain stuck in the old way.
We have to find the way to live in friendliness, without compromising, without diluting the concentration of our yoga/sadhana.
Of course humanity is not ready for it yet. It may even be another few thousand years.
There is a deliberate tendency in people to avoid being conscious. All the effort goes in avoiding reality because that would demand looking for answers.
They won't even acknowledge that they are in pain.
The need to prove that they are bigger than their weakness is very big.
What have we done to ourselves?

What have we done to ourselves?
We have connected our egos to our sense of virtue.......
Slogging is respectable - taking it easy or in short steps is not.
Obeying is the right thing - questioning is being obnoxious.
Putting up an image of infallibility is essential - show of inability makes you a pariah.
etc and so forth.
What did it prove?
Teach?
Achieve?
When we wish to take over the lives of others with a very set agenda of imposing our wishes on them, what do we start as a wave?
Can any good ever come out of this thinking?
Accepting others have different ideas is not difficult. It is when the others insist that they have to be taken as the only valid ones.
Like for example their views on God and how he works and how humans should behave in response.
I admit some viewpoints valid or not may be too far distanced to have anything common.
Opening rigidly shut minds to new thought patterns is not that easy. In such case distancing and maintaining a functional contact alone is best - if at all.
It is my experience that those who choose the path of self-perfection towards better and more positive values, do find their path being constantly disturbed and shaken.
Being blamed for something not done is the most common one. Life of the dynamic ones is constantly way ahead of others and this gives the Opposition energies a chance to create mini adverse situations.
It may not amount to much in real life but this perpetual spotlight on misdemeanors is very spirit-killing and also puts the fear of entanglement at every step. Often it can be rather horrific the turn the events take.
It breaks the spontaneity spirit and slows down the "sadhana" because often in this material world, the accused has to pay for it too and until the back log is cleared, things cannot advance.
Death is not a torment. This thinking of no sickness and no death is an error. It terrifies into self-damaging instances. My focus is on living well and to the hilt to the best of our ability - including thoughtful awareness - knowing death is our constant companion and could call on us to accompany him at any moment of his liking. And this kingdom that we are so attached to is just an illusion.
My views on this fantastic post on FB for what they are worth:
......My mum passed away after having the Pfizer jab. She was 87 in a nursing home and was healthy besides having dementia and arthritis.I have commented on another post but I will go into more detail here.
She had the jab then 5 days later her hand swell to 3 times the normal size. We requested a doctor see her but after 2 days doctor hadn't come so we called an ambulance and took her to casualty. It was found she had a blood clot in her shoulder. Then the doctors did X-rays and scans and came back to us with mum was in her final stage of colon cancer. That's when the alarm bells started ringing.......

When you pump unknown and unwanted elements into the body, many unwanted things are bound to happen. Our bodies though basically the same in construction are not made the same way; over a life time our chemistry is vastly different individually and adjusts to our life style and habits. Sudden changes can be disastrous.
And consider, why go for a jab at the age of 87? What was so important to invite death early? And what was so important that you are so afraid of death after a good long life? Is remaining senilely alive the goal?
"We create our fate every day. Most of the ills we suffer from are directly traceable to our own behavior."
~Henry Miller
There is no doubt we are all where we should be. The Universe is unfolding to an intricate plan and map. Our lives are unfolding quietly in the given parameters already dished out to us at birth for this life. Nothing is out of place and all is in order. We are allowing certain influences to enter and also go about as reactions in our time-space. Everything is perfectly balanced and in total harmony with the rest of it. BUT there is a big BUT.. There is also a seed of growth in our atmosphere, in the general atmosphere. This seed does not grow by itself. It requires nurturing and watering by changing the parameters at play. It requires conscious thought and action and playing outside the comfort zone. But as I said, but, we put in all our efforts to continue to wallow in our comfort zone with safety of existence in mind and lose the opportunity of a life time.
-------------
This I feel is my best effort (book). It questions man's fascination with himself and the lies he is telling himself and blocking his growth.
